Nicely appointed and in a great location in Yountville. My room looked nothing like the photo. It was so small I felt like I was in a Winnebago or on a boat. The bathroom and shower were tiny, there was only room for one small bedside table on one side of the bed. I tried to hand wash some clothes but the sink did not hold water. Reading light was blown. No one offered to help me with my luggage up 2 flights of narrow stairs. The closet was the only place to put a suitcase and it was miniscule. Unlimited cookies did not make up for a room so small it was claustrophobic. All that said, the staff were friendly, I slept well and Yountville is a lovely town. Value for money for this particular room was poor.
We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. Wonderful staff, relaxing setting, beautiful flowers and decor, awesome patio with valley views, wonderful food. Complimentary bikes a nice touch since much is accessible via a short ride in Yountville. Staff super friendly and our room was serviced daily with fresh linens and very clean. Quaint cozy beautiful town to walk and enjoy. Wish we could come here every year!
2nd stay here, last time was about 7 years ago. We booked a smaller room, number 3, as only staying for 4 nights and it was considerably cheaper than the others. No space at all to move around, the sink was in the actually room, with the loo and shower separate. No tv, no coffeemaker but this was described on the website correctly. Bottles of water are provided and welcome cookies, plus the hand wash and shampoo/conditioner and good quality as we recall. Robes in the small wardrobe too, handy to use going down to the pool. Swimming pool is a big bonus, with towels and comfy beds. The breakfast is nicely laid out with a good selection of cold items, breads and a hot dish or two each day, and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. It was nice to breakfast on the upstairs terrace or in the dining room. The only things that detract from giving our staff 5 stars are it needs some renovation as it's looking a bit worn inside (carpets need replacing, needs some paint and a good dust in places). Although the character and history is part of the appeal. The wine and cheese hour isn't as extensive as a few years ago when there was a hot artichoke dip, crusty bread and crudités. However, although the rooms are expensive, it's probably one of the cheaper options in the area as Yountville prices for everything have gone through the roof, post-pandemic. Special thanks to Lupe who seems to do everything with a smile and friendly chat: she cooks, cleans and never stops. Nice guy on the check in desk too.…
We had a wonderful two night stay at The Maison Fleurie. The breakfast was great and the cheese and wine in the evening was a wonderful touch. Pool, hot tub and robes in the closet! Very peaceful and a "cool" place to stay when the temp in Napa was 99 degrees.
Perfect location, perfect room, perfect weather, perfect staff. Nothing else needs to be said! Thank you so much for ensuring poor comfort and happiness in such a delightful setting. Close to JCB, Bouchon and French laundry. Electric charging just a two minute walk away We'll be back!
Like a small chalet right in the middle of Yountville. The location is within 1-2 blocks of the best restaurants, bakery, gardens etc. Ample parking. Very intimate and well decorated rooms. Cheese and wine event every afternoon. Very healthy breakfast including Quiches, fruit, homemade bread. The service is first class. Wesley is a book of knowledge about the region. Very reasonably priced. It will be our chalet choice for all future visits, as we go once a year from Florida to celebrate our anniversary .
It's been a while since we've stayed in Yountville (we prefer Napa these days), and our return to Maison Fleurie was as lovely as we remembered. The hotel has lifted pandemic practices and is back to serving the wine/cheese hour and breakfast. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. We had always stayed in the main building, but had a room in the carriage house this time. It was nice with a beautiful bathroom. There was some road noise during the day, but quiet at night. As always, a lovely choice for Yountville that only breaks the bank a little :)
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in late August for a special event and had an amazing experience from the time I was called to book my reservation, to them accomodating early check-in and late check-out, and even stored our extra food and wine we had after checking out all day so we could explore Yountville. Everything felt smooth, relaxed and welcoming and the place has a beautiful laid back French charm thats not trying hard but perfectly tasteful and elegant. It is right off the main street in downtown yountville looking at vineyards from the resort across the street and just a block away from Coqueta, Bouchon bakery and the downtown marketplace. We ony wished we had another night to relax there as we were gone so much for our event. Only improvments needed were for the breakfast as for the price I would hope for better coffee and we missed our afternoon cheese as my BF wasnt told upon check in there was a bag waiting for us that afternoon but was a nice touch we noticed the next day! Additionally the hot tub was out of order, which is always frustrating for a hotel or inn. But we still loved it and cant wait to come back for a couples retreat again soon! Advice, make reservations for meals if youre planning to come peak season or on a weekend as its in prime location…
Arrived as per instructions, not before 4 pm. We were given the room in the attic at the top of 3 flights of stairs. We are both 70 +. No one helped carry our bags. My poor husband struggled to make it. We discovered later we are the only elderly people here at the moment. All other guests are considerably younger 40 + not 70. Nowhere in the literature does it say rooms are difficult for the elderly, in fact they call themselves handicapped friendly. I cannot in my wildest of dreams imagine how a handicapped person could ever stay here. There are stairs everywhere. When we asked about another room we were told sold out…. The bathroom is a converted closet. I dread having to try and step into the shower tub, it is so high I will need a step stool to get into it. There are no chairs in the room. I am sitting on the tiled window ledge and my husband on the bed. This is called a deluxe king room……never again. Photos were so misleading.…
Great property and staff (Ellen and Robert) were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, and wine and cheese reception also grand. The pool was closed one day, alas, and hot tub for both days. No towels at the pool for day one and no crackers to go with the cheese, so failing short of perfection. Room was spacious, bedding nice, and good water pressure. We would return.
