Ok let me start off by saying what they are charging way to much for their rooms. The rooms look nothing like the pictures they post. The rooms are small and stink thank goodness for candles. In the pictures they look fresh clean and spacish The fridge is old and janky with rust. In the pictures everthing looks new and...

This is a hidden little gem. When we arrived a train was passing by so we had our reservations. The receptionist told us they were "infrequent", as we had inspected the room and found it more than acceptable, we decided to take a chance. He was absolutely correct we did not hear the train again. The room was extremely comfortable....

We go to Woodland a couple of times a year for dog related activities and have noticed this place but never tried it out until this last weekend. Surprisingly quiet despite the location between the freeway and the off ramp. Biggest issue was how dirty the room and bathroom were. Counter in bathroom had sticky stuff on counter. My wife...

Checked in late and owner tending the desk. Friendly and got me a quiet room. Good size room with dated, overly abundant, mismatched furniture. At least the bed was good but too often with independents they try to slide by with issues in the bathroom and the aforementioned furnishing issues. But it worked for a decent night's sleep.

The hotel web site says pet friendly, so we booked a room as we were driving with our well-behaved cat and her litter box. On arrival we were told only dogs were allowed. I asked the desk clerk to call the owner Mr. Patel. He declined in spite of our assurances about our cat. So we back-tracked 10 miles to...

Large rooms, clean, but the place is fraying at the edges, you can see the signs of deferred maintenance. Still a decent budget stay, with plenty of room for beds, sofa, and table and chairs. The breKfast is a little on the stingy side, common to these lower priced places.

We had a wonderful stay here at Valley Oaks Inn, Woodland, CA. The room was spacious with King size bed, sofa, table and chairs. Also included is a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. We had two rooms and both of them were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The management was helpful. Breakfast was included with the price of the room: waffles,...

After choosing the hotel for the hot tub, we arrived after a 10 hour drive to hear it was not working. The outdoor pool was not heated or covered. The room was "non smoking" but smelled like at one time it was smoking. The soda machine was broken. The toilet leaked and there was a puddle in the bathroom. The...

So filthy! Dirt everywhere and bugs in the bed. Dirty underwear in the shower from previous guest. Manager moved is to another room after several complaints. Told us in the morning that they've been spraying the room for bugs and they're sorry they still have them. Why ate they renting this room out then??? So gross!! Never staying here again....
