We arrived a few days early before the Nudefest event started, knowing that it would be crowded. As a clothing optional resort the age range of guests was from young adults to senior citizens. There was plenty of room in the tent camping area and a porta-potty was within walking distance. We pitched camp by the lake and spent many hours watching the geese & ducks. Over the next two days all of the camping areas were filled with motor homes, trailers and tents and we were thankful we had chosen a space away from the heavy traffic.
Overall, this is a highly rated resort with a wide variety of activities and facilities. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools and spas. Every afternoon there were bands playing and dances in the evenings. The cafe did have limited hours but when they were open the service was good and the food well prepared. We had come prepared to cook all of our meals on the campfire but still enjoyed the cafe also. Even though the facility was crowded due to the weeks events the nights were peaceful and facilities were kept clean.

Two days in paradise. I chose a a luxury room during the week. Unfortunately the restaurant was not fully staffed yet. Still recovering from the covid shutdown. It was weekends only. Just plan accordingly and you can't go wrong. Bought some basic food items at nearby Raley's. It is a MINI fridge. So, don't get carried away with the perishables. I bought a couple pre-made salads, fruit bowel, Bananas, and microwave meals, etc. Kept it light. Got back, put everything away. Clothes came off and stayed that way for the next 48 hours. Excellent staff, Super friendly community, Clear skies and warm sun on happy buns! Sun screen! Most important. For got my scalp of all things. Ouch! LOL! I wanted to stay in OZ, forever. Did not want to return to the "normal" world. Got home and immediately started planning my next trip. Worth every penny spent! Even for a solo single!

Wonderful place to unwind, enjoy Mother Nature at her finest and meet fun and interesting people. Swim in the pools, play volleyball, canoe the lake or just sit at your campsite and enjoy the fresh air. As for getting naked or participating in activities? Just do what you’re comfortable with. I’ve never noticed anyone judging what others are doing - they’re too busy having fun!

Laguna Del Sol is well maintained, clean and the staff are friendly and always helpful.

Nice resort with expansive grounds, several pools, hot tub, etc. Not the most helpful staff when I checked in. My fist visit to this resort and had to ask for a facility map and was given an illegible xerox of a map. I had booked a "luxury" room which turned out to be clean, spacious with a nice veranda (shared with 2 other rooms) overlooking the lake. No box of kleenex in the bathroom although it had the usual complement of shamppo, etc.The bathroom sink was nearly plugged, had a flatscreen television with Roku, Dish satellite and a DVD player but Roku was not connected to the internet, and the remote for Dish (or ROKU for that matter) did not have any workable options to connect to the satellite feed. There was no remote for the television. A call to the front desk for help went unanswered (not even voicemail). These rooms are in a building with an indoor pool and hot tub which would be nice for an evening soak or swim, but neither were open. The building is located on the opposite side of the lake from the other swimming pools, whirlpool and hot tub. Rooms were advertised to be serviced daily, but this was not the case while I was there.
There was no place in the facility to buy even a bottle of water, so it was necessary to drive 5 miles to the nearest gas station mini mart. The resort itself is somewhat remote, so expect to drive 30-45 minutes to find shopping, etc. The website for this resort did not reveal the extent of closed facilities within. The restaurant was closed as was the bar. I fault the state government for that, not the resort.

This is a nudist resort.
The resort has so many options There are four pools, hot tub, shuffle board, pickle ball, water volley ball.
The resort has luxury hotel rooms, full RV hook ups, electric and water hookups, dry camping and a tent area.
When arriving you will be required to take a tour. The tour will show all the facilities. You will be amongst nude people. After the tour you can decide if you want to give it a go.
You may feel intimidated by being nude amongst other nude people. Just do a day visit.
There are very few " Barbie or Kens" on the property. Most are overweight or very underweight.
There is a lake and a trail to the river.
We are very overweight seniors. We can't wait to go back.
This is a family-oriented resort. No funny business on the grounds.

Worst experience we have ever felt from any customer service people. From the moment we walked in the door, all 3 of the ladies behind the desk, treated us like we were pieces of trash and a bother for them to have to throw out. Even the other customers present tried to help but the staff behind the desk wouldn't let them. We had traveled across the country and finding the other similar resort days drive south caused us to loose a day of our vacation. All was good in the end because the other resort much nicer with outstanding, welcoming staff. We hope this review will others from ever having to experience such humiliation from these this front desk staff.

We've been coming to Laguna for many years and have always enjoyed it. This trip was just a bit different. With the Covid thing happening many of the pools and Hot Tubs were closed. I really don't have issues with that but it's needs to be posted on the website. Had it been posted I probley would not have gone there. Other that that it's a great place to hang out and enjoy the weather.

New experience for me. Wanted to check the place out and was very comfortable being natural. Lots of seniors like myself, not much eye candy with all of us showing our age,,,,but enjoyed the place, brought my motorhome. Full hookups, no pervs or weirdos that I could tell expect maybe myself (lol). I'm coming back.

Visited in 1st week of October and the weather was fabulous high 80's during the day and 60's at night. We have many friends who are members here, and we decided to spend the weekend there for our anniversary, but we had some issues during our visit . It's supposed to be couples only, but there are single men all over the place. Come to find out that the resort lets couples join, but let's guys show up single. They hang out around the pool leering at the ladies there. At night they're at the club clothed and staring at the women. One guy joined with his 70 plus mom. He accosted my wife in the spa. Didn't turn him in, dealt with it myself. Didn't like to watch women making out at the club as well. The place is frequented by swingers, which is why some folks feel it's clique like, as these folks tend to hang out by themselves. Had to spend too much time clothed, because most of the folks there were clothed. The only place that clothing isn't optional is the pools, but we did see some women there clothed ( can't really blame them). We felt out of place just walking around naked. The accommodations are great!! Lots of stuff to do, and events throughout the year. We just didn't like the fact that most folks are clothed, and too many single men. I know it can be better than this and we will visit again, but make sure that folks we know are going as well, so we can hopefully avoid some of the unappealing aspects we experienced this time.

Mike -- Our family & those from around the world have found beautiful truth visiting this resort paradise. We swim our cares away, enjoy the pool lounge chairs & feel the serenity of palm trees & white clouds drifting in the blue. The lake view & natures freedom calm you into a perfect state of mind. A level of relaxation, inner joy, peace and empowerment maybe not reached in years. If you're a tent camper or RVer, we set up on a site right in the middle of everything. The resorts amenities include a restaurant, paddle boat dock, lodging, three large spas, four pools, sports & exercise facilities and special events attended by hundreds with outdoor live bands and dozens of vendor booths for the family to enjoy. Our new friends and the natural beauty of this great oasis converge to restore needed positivity. Laguna Del Sol is truthfully our most perfect getaway escape. So glad it's here! Mike, hope to meet you this spring/summer & further discover what a great place this has been since the '70s ? Have fun !
