I really had hoped after reading the reviews, that there would have been some improvements...it looks like they are trying...but not hard enough. The bathrooms had mold in the showers and the rugs were nasty...the spots are really tight and not kept up. The pool was very clean....but all the chairs were dirty and covered in cobwebs and spiders. The... More

We tent camped here about four years ago and were not impressed, but because it is conveniently located we decided to try it again. It has gone even further down hill. Don't know if they quit the KOA franchise or if KOA dropped the park, but all the signs are still KOA yellow with duct tape over anything saying "KOA."... More

This park is mediocre. A few of the showers have no water pressure & were room temperature water. The staff kept the bathrooms very clean, though. Our biggest problems were with the very small RV spaces - way too tight & close together. They weren't very level, & there was so much dirt everywhere, it was hard to keep anything... More

We stayed here in a cabin in May and on Labor Day weekend and both weekends were great!!!! The cabins were both clean and comfortable and met our needs. Staying in a cabin is a step above tent camping and our grand kids love it! This is a perfect place to bring children. There is so much to do: Monster... More

When we went to our room we saw lots of cockroaches. So gross who would want to stay here. Save yourself from staying at this horrible place. We had to find somewhere else to stay to avoid getting our bags filled with bugs. Trust me people please stay somewhere else

Stayed here for 2 nights. They used to be a KOA but wanted to spend their franchise fee on upgrading the place. Excited to see the improvements. Hopefully making the sites larger will be one of the improvements. Our dog loved this dog friendly place. Excellent dog run and pet - friendly staff. We were bummed to find out there... More

This is a good family park! Family run, family owned, family oriented with specific activities for the young and old alike. Good place to bring the kids to see California's capital city! The staff is friendly and very service oriented. They used to be KOA and are now independent with the intention of upgrading. It is a quirky park with... More

just bought an RV and needed a few nights as we closed out our apartment in Sacramento. RV parks are few in the Sacramento area. This campground was a KOA, January 1st is now an independant campground. It is a nice sized campground with plenty of pull through 50 amp services spots. The pads are gravel and was challenging to... This was just a quick stop on our way back home. We checked in after the office was closed and left before they were open. They left easy instructions on which sites were open and how to register. The dog run was the best I've seen. It was very large-the size of some house lots! It had a cover with... More

I stayed one night in a tent site and thought it was nice. The grass was in good shape which helped to make a soft pad for the tent. There's a creek that runs behind the tent area. The restrooms were in okay shape although the showers were tiny; whoever thought it was a good idea to make showers 30... More
