My stay at Banana Bungalow was the perfect introduction to LA and the USA. The hostel is clean and basic with free breakfast by the way of cereal, toast and coffee amongst other things. The social atmosphere at this hostel was fantastic, with a very central common area and activities every night with enthusiastic staff running them! They even offered...

If you are wanting a place to stay when you're on a budget but want a decent location then this is the hostel for you. Pros: -West Hollywood is a great location if you're not wanting to be too far away from the tourist attractions. For the price you pay, it's a bargain. -On site parking is available on a...

Free food, free drinks, free entertainment and free rides to attractions made the experience great value for money. Good place to go if you want to make friends on your travels, activities create a pretty communal environment.

Great hotel for the budget conscious. -good location: near restaurants, farmers markets and comedy clubs. Short uber ride to anywhere we needed to go. -friendly staff: full of tips and recommendations for our stay. -clean rooms: nothing fancy but they have all you need.

I stayed at Banana Bungalow in West Hollywood for 2 nights at the end of my US trip and would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and went to the effort to remember my name and organised some great events for us. Free dinner and drinks on Thanksgiving was a great touch as well as meeting up with the...

Good location. Staff were friendly. Nice communal area. A few good restaurants locally. About 5mins Uber to Hollywood central. But WOW it was noisy. Both from the street noise (all night and all day) and noise from within the communal areas - I assume from pool tournaments. I didn't have a good sleep there.

The location is good. If you don't mind the walk, Hollywood boulevard and Sunset strip are just around the corner (30-45min). Rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was quite basic but ok. Staff on the other hand could be more interested about their job. At first I thought it was just me and my low blood sugar after a long...

I recently travelled to LA for a Halloween Party and booked into the Banana for 2 nights. The staff there are super friendly and a big party was organized for the first night, which I had to miss unfortunately. The hostel itself is really laid back, people playing pool, chilling in the garden, etc. When I came back from my...

When we first arrived we were greeted by and unenthusiastic and rude employee that had no desire to be there. We got to our room and found it clean and as described on the website having a double bed and bunk beds. The room was next to the office on road side with what seemed to be plastic windows, so...
