That this hotel has maintained for so long such a hip, exclusive vibe and such an outstanding level of personal service can be largely attributed to the top tier staff, ably led by Nicolas Black. My fiancé and I spent 3 days here to chill out, have fun and be well taken care of, hopefully with a touch of glamour...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our arrival in LA to rest and acclimatise before road tripping north. We LOVED it! We stayed in a junior suite which was funky and spacious and perfectly suited my aesthetic sensibilities! I am most comfortable in places where style is as important as substance so it was hard to...

We stayed at the Mondrian at the end of our three week California break as a family of 4 with 9 year old twins. We chose this hotel because having stayed at the Beverley Hills hotel at the start of our holiday we wanted to try something different. This hotel is very trendy with excellent amenities. Our room which was...

Stunning hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Very modern & funky with a few quirky twists! Stunning views over L.A from the pool area. Extremely helpful staff & concierge. They helped us get tickets to a nice hockey game AND found us a local barber that did traditional shaves! Very enjoyable stay :)

I couldn't fault this hotel or location. Lovely views. Amenities are perfect, often see some celebrities knocking around the pool. Rooms are very clinical but I have stayed here twice now- both stays have been great.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.

Mondrian LA is a parallel universe of perpetual possibility. Rejuvenated by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, this luxury boutique hotel in the heart of West Hollywood captures everything the Strip stands for - excitement, invincibility and glamour. Entering Mondrian through its signature, thirty-foot mahogany doors, guests will find the recently expanded lobby, accented with hues of deep purple and complemented by custom-designed furniture, a Lucite indoor swing and a mushroom-inspired concierge desk. Complimentary high speed wireless internet access is offered in the lobby. Ivory On Sunset, a restaurant which is a collaboration with John Terzian of The h.wood Group, Built Inc. and Hakkasan Group, celebrates California cuisine and comfort foods to encourage diners to embrace the restaurant's communal philosophy, while our Lobby Bar serves a full cafe menu in the morning and small plates in the evening. Up in the sky, amid the clouds of Los Angeles, guests can enjoy the stunning view from our Skybar lounge, Los Angeles' mainstay for nightlife. Exxhibit Boutique, our gift shop, offers curated items tailored for the LA scene.
