To travel during a pandemic is already beyond stressful! We reached out to Vanessa who went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe for our business trip. She reached out day prior of our arrival and even touched base when we arrived. We hate telling everyone about this hotel as it’s our favorite best kept secret but with the staff and accommodations it’s hard not to share. What we will say is that you can have an amazing property but it truly is people like Vanessa that make you want to come back time and time again! Stay safe team Le Peer and thank you again - we will be back in 2021

We stayed here at La Peer (because of the location) on our previous trip and I really wished it could have been better. I get that it's tough during the pandemic but it was not a relaxing stay having to do our own trash and linens. The trash didn't get picked up outside of our door for awhile even after calling down. There were homeless people sleeping right next to the hotel and it just didn't feel like weho. The valet attendants were great and very friendly. Hoping to return when things get better.

This was my first stay at a Kimpton Hotel Property and I was impressed with the smaller boutique feel and ambiance of the property. The hotel was expertly decorated for the Halloween weekend with staff and guest dressed for the occasion. The lobby and pool were very enticing with a neo soul vibe that lures you in and beckons you to stay a while and soak in the vibe. The pool although small is the center of activity with plenty of space for sunbathing and socializing while lounging in a cabana or recliner. As I entered the bar area, Alex, the senior mixologist, welcomed me with one of their craft cocktails -- a West Hollywood version of the Boulevardier -- which was a divine elixir from the Gods. The bar is adjacent to the pool allowing for free flowing movement between the lobby, the bar, and the pool, creating an interconnected design that is open and inviting. The rooms were comfortable with a minimalist design and a modern touch. The closest comparison would be the W hotel. If you prefer a more classical hotel room with traditional bedding and furniture then this may not be for you. But if you want to maximize the space for comfort or entertainment then you will enjoy these rooms. The bathroom is extremely spacious creating a feeling of openness. I was particularly impressed with the design of the bathrooms with free standing bathtubs and raindrop showerheads. The real strength of the hotel however is the nightlife. I happened to be there on the weekend when they open up the roof for penthouse dining and poolside DJ. The food was exquisite with fish, chicken, pasta, and steak, available to satisfy all tastes. The rooftop view of the Hollywood Hills and pulsating bass added a certain eclectic feel to the evening that epitomized Los Angeles. And given the COVID-19 restrictions in the city a stay at the La Peer Hotel is the perfect way to experience Los Angeles without having to leave the hotel.

This is my second time staying at the hotel and definitely not the last. I had such a great stay for my birthday weekend! Everyone was lovely, CJ helped us at valet and was so welcoming and friendly, Amelia checked us in and made our stay perfect from start to finish. On a side note, I really appreciate how dedicated they are to ensuring guest safety during COVID-19. All of their staff wore masks, they were frequently disinfecting public areas and they had a lot of hand sanitizer stations for public use. They followed social distancing guidelines and provided masks and a welcome kit for guests who did not have one. During our stay we had drinks at the bar and ate at the pop-up downstairs. It was great! The drinks are super delicious and the bartenders, Alex and Aaron, make you feel at home. The food at the pop-up was great, if you get a chance check it out! As always, I love staying here and I'm excited for next time!
