Fashioned after a private pied-a-terre, Petit Ermitage offers guests an intimate sanctuary in which to take refuge from the bustling city of Los Angeles. Nestled on a quiet street in West Hollywood, but located just steps from the Sunset Strip, Petit features an extensive art collection, eclectic European antiques, custom-crafted mattresses, 618 thread count sheets, in-room fireplaces, balconies and hand-woven Turkish carpets. The Private Rooftop - replete with native gardens, a salt water pool, cabanas, an outdoor sunken fireplace and 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills - is considered one of the premiere dining spaces in LA.

West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.

From booking to greeting to being compliant, well cleaned and kept The Petit Ermitage gets 5 stars from me and my party. Troy took care of us wonderfully and everyone from the front desk to the Valet were gracious and accomodating. Room service was prompt and the pool was beautiful and very relaxing Great way to celebrate a birthday weekend!!

We only have one question...Who the hell is Troy? No one by that name works here! But he sounds like a great guy and we would love his number for our own birthday weekend if you happened to get it?

This is my FAVORITE hotel in LA by far. The staff is so nice and accommodating, every room I've stayed in is just so lovely and has so much detail. These minibars are insane and unlike any other. When things are 'normal' they also have such a beautiful rooftop that is only available to hotel guests so it's never crowded and you are always so taken care of. They really make you feel like home. And if you're celebrating something? They really go the extra mile to make you feel special. Will be back again and again.

I love the Petit Ermitage. Amazing European vibe and super friendly and attentive staff. The service was spot on and the food also great. Go for the fried chicken sandwich if you are hungover :) ... Big shout out the general manager Troy Berry for accommodating my special requests!

Thank you for the shout out to our most esteemed General Manager Troy. We would be truly lost without him. Other GM’s have come and gone, none really understanding the vision of Petit Ermitage. Then walks in Troy Berry, and with a collective sigh we all exclaimed…FINALLY! We are so lucky to have found someone of his caliber. See you on the flip side.

I heard from many colleagues this is a private hotel with a whimsical flair. When I arrived, it was exactly what I was expecting. This gorgeous hotel is a stunningly unique looking place with a surreal vibe. As much as the hotel is visually captivating, what impressed me the most about Petit and what was the unexpected surprise was the staff. The staff had the most amazing charm and sense of humor while still taking safety seriously with temperature checks, masks and cleaning. Because of the staff, I plan on making another reservation here when I can. Again Petit is a beautiful hotel with a cool quirky charm, but the staff seems to have risen to the occasion of making guests feel special. And as an added bonus, they had a way of making me laugh during challenging times. Great job here!

This is hidden gem in West Hollywood. Boutique and exclusive with amazing service. The roof deck pool and area is a great place to chill anytime. It’s also one of the most dog friendly hotels I have ever been. The new manager Troy is doing an amazing job and improving what was already great.
