Went there for a retreat for raw foodists, stayed in the "Healthy Room". The room was outfitted with some great things, but the wood burning stove heated and spewed soot and ash the whole time. There was dirt everywhere, and the bathroom was unmanageable, and dirty. Think camping with a roof over your head. Would recommend staying in the other...

I got there on a Sunday without a reservation thinking I'd stay if the price was reasonable and if they had a room, of course. I was met cordially with the information that things were "much better than they used to be" (I had used the baths about 5 years before a couple of times and thought they were great)....

My husband and I were really looking forward to spending a day at this hot springs. A friend of ours had recommended it and said the mineral baths were great, the vegetarian food very good and the owners quite friendly. We thought the baths were some of the best mineral waters we had been in. Our skin was quite soft...

I went to Stewart Mineral Springs with a group of friends the third week of June this year and was pleased to discover that it was so much nicer than it was a few years ago. The rooms have been renovated by the new manager, and were very comfortable and clean. The food was much better than four or five...

This resort is on incredibly beautiful land, and you can hear the rushing of the spectacular creek from the lodging, a great sound to sleep to. The natural surroundings make it an ideal place for retreat. I was there at a sceduled retreat but would return to relax and soak in the mineral springs and the natural beauty. I appreciated...

There are not many unique and special places to stay on the route from Sacramento, California to Ashland, Oregon. Only four miles from I-5 and near stunning Mount Shasta, Stewart Mineral Springs provides comfortable, reasonably priced cabins and motel rooms, a restaurant, and a spa with individual tubs of hot mineral water, a large sauna, and a plunge in a...

The location was a long trip for an East Coaster but worth it. The mineral baths, sauna and river cold plunge were all fantastic, the best of that kind of thing I've ever experienced anywhere, and my favorite aspect of the property. The atmosphere in the bathhouse was quiet and respectful. The vibe of the staff was a welcome balance...

In June the Healing Order I belong to organized a 5 day retreat at Stewart Mineral Springs (SMS). The call of Mount Shasta got me to make the journey from Europe and the stay at SMS was truly worth the trip ... let alone the gathering of such wonderful souls. The accomodation in the Motel was wonderful, clean, and of...

Camped at Stewart for two nights with my partner. If being lulled to sleep by the river we camped directly next to wasn't enough, the healing properties of the water are outstanding. This is truly sacred land. Also worked to secure day space for a retreat I was a part of. Stewart graciously accommodated our group of 20 for day...

This is a hot springs resort in the forest near Mount Shasta, with a restaurant and bath house for the mineral baths, sauna, and this year a very full rushing creek. Excellent massage services are also available. The current management has significantly upgraded the room bathrooms with all new sinks, toilets, showers, flooring and so on. The rooms have comfortable...

“Cabins are great but can get cold at night. Wood costs $10 a bundle (I burned 1 bundle a night). Dorm sized refrig so bring an ice chest. Rustic and peaceful - so nice for a quiet and tranquil retreat.”

“I really enjoyed staying in a cabin, and cabin 16 had a lovely front porch but did look out onto the back of the neighboring cabin. Cabin 17 is on the end so your porch would not look out onto the back of another cabin.”
