What a wonderful experience we had at the Whitmore Inn! We were in Weaverville to photograph a wedding. Noelle was so kind and accommodating to help us be able to work from the inn. The room was so comfortable and inviting and the hospitality excellent. The home and grounds were beautiful. Excited to return again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Whitmore Inn! The owner/ innkeeper, Noelle, was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the history of Trinity County! I found that to be very interesting! The B&B was filled with warmth and beauty, inside and out! The Inn was very clean and the breakfast, quite yummy! Would definitely recommend this and would come... More

My wife and I stayed in the Whitmore Inn for our 17th Anniversary. The owners seem nice enough, though not as warmly welcoming and accommodating as we've found in other B&B's. Not really a "plus" or a "minus" there. The Negatives: 1. No warm breakfast For me, this is the "signature" of a bed and breakfast...yet here there was only... More

We stayed two nights here and loved it. We had the whole house to ourselves since it was winter which made it feel like ours. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and our Rose room. Altho there was only continental breakfast you can cook for yourself in the kitchen and they had fresh coffee and a huge array of teas to make. We... More

My wife and I found this gem in this beautiful historic gold mining town. The rooms are neat and clean and appointed with fine antique furniture. The grounds are beautifully landscaped which can be enjoyed from the large veranda. Noelle, the innkeeper was very pleasant and very helpful in recommending places eat and visit in the area.

This beautifully refurbished Victorian-style home is very comfortable -- almost lavishly furnished -- and the fellow acting as our host was pleasant enough, so whether it was a miscommunication or our faulty expectations that a pricey inn billed as a "B and B" would actually provide a breakfast, the end result was that the breakfast was a bust. When we... More

This B&B is the most beautiful Victorian you will ever see. When the proprietor renovated this old historic building, it looks like an artist was standing next to her. The colors of paint, details of accent colors and trim, antique furniture, bedding, pillows, window dressings.... It is a feast for your eyes. The mattress was heavenly, the porches luxurious, and... The Whitmore is a fabulously refurbished Victorian style home that has been converted into a comfortable and relaxing inn. The rooms are well styled to suit the era but with the felling of modern comfort. The proprietor or hosts were wonderfully friendly and made me feel very much at home. The town of Weaverville itself was a very pleasant surprise.... More

My wife and I were able to stay at the Inn only one night and didn't get to see the guests rooms in the house, but the Garden Room was a perfect match for our needs. It was more comfortable for us to come and go with our privacy without disturbing other guests. The positive descriptions of the house are... More

It's rare to find an accessible room in a charming victorian B&B, but the Whitmore Inn has one. The downstairs room has wheelchair access and a bathroom that worked for my husband. It's always a pleasure to find charm and character along with accessible amenities. And Weaverville is quite an interesting place.
