The hotel, originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. We have painstakingly restored it to the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. Private bath with shower in all rooms, most also have claw-foot tubs with bubble bath. All rooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans; most also have gas log fireplaces, a welcome feature during our colder months. Prime retail therapy is to be had in our great little Emporium downstairs where everything from sterling silver jewelry to women's clothing to great gift items can be found. The emporium is open every day, 9am till 6pm except Sundays, 10am-6pm. That's every day of the year!

This is the best hotel in weaverville town! Jeanne the owner is super nice. Super comfortable bed, clean sheets and very cute room. Centrally located in town and easy access to all the restaurants! Definitely recommended!

The process of making and changing my reservation date for a work trip last week was very easy. The owner greeted me at check-in and showed me around the public areas. She pointed out pictures and shared stories about her family’s history. The room was nice and exceptionally clean. Though I was there only one night for work, I would recommend the hotel. The only slight negative of my room was that it faced the two lane highway and during the early morning I could hear semi-trucks rolling by. The sound did not bother me, but a “light sleeper” might have issues. A very accommodating owner, a wonderful four poster bed, and a clawfoot bathtub were the highlights of my stay.

We've stayed a couple of times. A comfy, old-fashioned room with a fourposter bed, a clawfoot tub and NO TV (an advantage as far as we're concerned). A friendly greeting even though we arrived late. Good advice for a dinner, too. And the "Emporium" has lots of tempting stuff...

Riding on a Harley from Seattle down the coastline, Washington, Oregon to California and staying in this fantastic hotel was an absolute delight. The owner was very welcoming and a great touch to have the chocolate truffles waiting when we went to bed. Our room was perfect, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend.

Love the Victorian themed charm and decor. The floors creek but that just adds to the old time feel of this place. The hostess "Chris" was amazing and so helpful. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, love the his & her robes & slippers to use. It's a nice relaxing get away from tv and all electronics. I will definitely be back. The seating area has lots of books to read or just sit and chat. The gift shop/emporium is a must to browse or shop.
