For the last few years my husband and I have spent Thanksgiving at the Lamplighter Inn. They have a terrific brunch (three separate meal times) for a very economical price. I usually get the typical Thanksgiving dinner, and my husband, who isn't one for turkey and yams, goes for the salmon, shrimp and prime rib. It's all you can eat... More

Nice, big room. Clean, comfortable. The air con was a bit noisy but it kept the room a good temperature. Nice balcony area and grounds. We stayed here while visiting Sequoia national park and it was very convenient as the shuttle stops right outside. The bar and grill was closed so we didn't get to try it but there's lots... More

Great place to stay. Close to the highway, not to far from sequoia national forest. We stay there 2 night. The place is clean. The pool was hot and nice. The room is old, old tv, but fine for 2 nights.

This was my first visit to Visalia. I was told our organization had rooms set aside for us to stay here. Check in was very easy. It's not fancy and flashy like others.. My first thought was " Radiator Springs". It was clean and basic and comfortable. The diner had good food and pleasant employees. A continental breakfast deal was... More

This was our 3rd stay here. This time we stayed for 3 nights. Our room was towards the back of motel; there are also "garden" rooms in the front around the pool and landscaped garden. The room was very clean; beds were very comfortable; .bathroom a good size; and the A/C was fine (97 degrees outside!). They do not offer... More

We enjoyed this motel - the room was basic and clean, parking was handy and the diner attached did a great breakfast (not included in the price of the room). We stayed here after camping in Yosemite and drove on to the Sequoias the next day. Good location!

This is probably a 2 or 3 star motel. Court Yard is pretty. Rooms were clean but AC units were not working properly. Took a lot of complaining to get another room and ac was better but still not doing the job as it should. Would not stay there again.

I am so sorry you experienced a problem with the ac. The difficulty in moving you was because the hotel was so full. ..but I am sorry you did not receive a more immediate solution..we have not had any recent complaints about the ac but I will look in to the situation. More

Stayed in room 261. Extremely slow Wi-Fi. Noisy air condition. Old CRT TV. This was just your average motel room. Everything in need of an update. Adequate for one night. Motel grounds and pool area were very nice.

The hotel is OK, the pool is good because there are a lot of people from everywhere in the world coming to this hotel. They are nice and decent people. My 9 years old son loves the pool so much. The hotel is old, smelling but it is OK. The bus to Sequoia park stops right in front of this... More

Many people enjoy our little Inn..is it old? Yes..I don't know what you mean when you say "old smelling" but I am glad you enjoyed our beautiful large swimming pool located in the middle of our lovely gardens..I am certain you enjoyed your price as well. Thank you for your stay. More
