Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Season Paradise for 3 nights.
On our arrival we were greeted at the airport by the hotel’s representative who also accompanied us at the jetty
It took us about 25mins to reach Thulusdhoo, when we arrived the hotel’s buggy was already at the jetty waiting for us.
Once at the hotel they handed us a welcome drink & let us in the room even before the check in time.
The facility is nice, the room is spacious but won’t recommend you to pay more to have the sea view rooms cause’ the view is anyway covered by the trees.
The gym is not so big but offers an amazing view! The Infinity pool is the best part of the hotel, it’s big enough, not so much guests go there so you can enjoy it so much.
Their restaurant serves buffet style breakfast, lunch & dinner and it remains open even during late afternoon for people who miss the buffet (menù a la carte).
The staff was great, special mention to Sayful the guy from Bangladesh who works at the restaurant, he was very friendly to us during our whole stay!
The hotel is beachfront but it’s not a bikini beach so you have to walk like 100m to the right to be able to swim, although it’s not a really nice beach.
In thulusdhoo there are 2 Bikini beaches, the nice one is 20mins walking from Season Paradise but it’s worth the walking!
All in all, I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget then just do some excursions.

We stayed in Season Paradise for 13 days for our honeymoon and we very much enjoyed our stay!!
Let's start with the basic stuff: the hotel is extremely clean, the towels are changed daily, the housekeeping team is absolutely fantastic, we always found our room spotless coming back from the beach. There are complementary toothbrushes and toothpaste and they're replenished daily
The Reception crew is also excellent, very polite and professional, they helped us with getting around the island, answered any questions we had and were always willing to help no matter what we needed.
The pool is a huge plus. The views are absolutely stunning there's food served and you can swim in your bikini which is great. It's a really comfortable environment if you want to chill and take in the scenery. There's nowhere else in the island you can get this kind of view while eating or swimming, really great.
There's also live music on a Friday along with buffet dinner. The setting is lovely and so is the food.
What made our stay truly special though was the service staff that went above and beyond for us especially F&B Captain Kieran GC. He looked after us for 13 days non stop. Remarkably polite, always had time for each guest that needed his help, always in good spirits and up for a chat, he never once told us " that can't be done" which I've heard plenty of times in other hotels.
Whether we were at the pool, or we needed dinner made ( my husband has an intolerance to spices) Kieran always made sure we had everything we needed. If it weren't for him we would have probably left earlier due to the fact that my husband couldn't hack the food anywhere.
Kieran is an absolute asset to Season Paradise one of a kind, if you're reading the review guys you're very lucky to have him!! He truly made our stay much more special and we are extremely grateful 🙏

The hotel's photos and descriptions provide an accurate representation of this excellent place. I searched many resorts and non-resort islands in the Maldives and was drawn to Season Paradise. It is of course correct that Thulusdhoo is principally a residential island and Muslim in cultural regulations, so there is no alcohol. Although I always enjoy wine I did not miss that at all during my one week stay. The half board buffet meals followed different themes each day from Sri Lankan to various Indian styles but always offered other options too, the different fruit juices were delectable and non alcoholic cocktails and so on were a treat available both inside the restaurant and at the delightful outside bar. The Friday evening barbecue was a treat with a duo providing acoustic guitar and vocal covers of Cold Play and similar in a beautiful palm tree grove.
The palm view room I had on the first floor had all the amenities I could wish for, was tastefully decorated as is the whole hotel, and was serviced each day by the meticulous Mutukuma. I was very impressed with everything. The hotel's reception staff such as April always were engaging as were those in the restaurant, so warm, friendly and generating a wonderful ambience. The facilities such as the gym and roof-top infinity pool are impressive while the hotel's location with its immediate access to the beach and lagoon with its colourful fish are ideal. Although a solo traveller and with no other guest speaking English, I never felt alone but totally enthralled with my first visit to the Maldives. The swimming, snorkelling and surfing trips to the nearby Chickens break and slightly further away Ninjas were so easy to arrange.
I have travelled internationally a fair bit for beach and surfing trips including many visits to the Caribbean, Hawaiian Islands, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and West Coast USA but my Maldives holiday and stay at the Season Paradise surpass all. I had the added benefit of having sufficient Virgin Atlantic airmiles to upgrade to Upper Class as usual in all my international trips. With booking Season Paradise almost a year in advance plus accumulating Virgin Atlantic airmiles, my Maldives holiday was well within my budget the total cost being equivalent to a single night stay in one of the exclusive resorts and not including air travel. To stay at the nearby Kuda Villingili resort about 500 meters from Thulusdhoo would have cost at least around 18 times as much per night as Season Paradise and would not have offered me anything more that I wanted or would value.

I really liked the hotel
The service is top notch, every employee (and all the locals) are very friendly, really want to help you
The food isn't fancy, but overall it's delicious.
There are two bars - one near the ocean below, the second near the pool above. Prices in the second x2, explain this by different taxes on restaurants.
Our vacation was from March 4 to March 17, Ramadan began on March 10. This doesn’t really affect tourists: cafes are open, but they close their shutters (so that locals don’t see the food). The bar downstairs closes, but the prices in the bar above are the same as below.
On Fridays there is a big delicious dinner, meat, vegetables, chicken and fish are grilled on coals.
Cleaning every day, towels changed, etc.
Be sure to bring special shoes for the ocean. There are a lot of corals and rocks on the beach near the hotel. Also take a mask and fins with you: there is a beautiful coral reef near the hotel, where you can see turtles, sharks, and many beautiful fish. We didn’t take any and rented equipment every day; snorkeling here is a pleasure. There is a beach with soft sand where you can swim well, but it is a 20-minute walk, and there are scheduled buses from the hotel three times a day.
We went on three excursions from the hotel: watching dolphins, snorkeling with turtles and snorkeling with sharks and stingrays. The last excursion was a complete delight, and while snorkeling with turtles we did not see a single turtle.
There is almost no animation here, in the evening they turn on a movie, sometimes karaoke, I think that children would not be very interested here
We did not exchange dollars for rufiyaa at the airport, there was a very long queue there. Almost everywhere on the island of Thulusdu you can pay in dollars; in rare cases, change is given in rupees. The rate throughout the island is the same as at the airport.

They rested from October 28 to November 5. Airport transfers took about 30 minutes by boat. Upon arrival, they met him at the marina and took him to the hotel by special transport. Checked in immediately, did not wait for the arrival time. Breakfasts are pretty monotonous, you're bored at the end. I want to write about the beach, it's weird why they don't write reviews here! Improvements are under way, so there is a truck and excavator on the beach all the time except Friday. There weren't many beds, but everyone had enough! Very small mosquitoes fly on the beach near trees and in a street cafe, we were constantly bitten (take funds!) Lived in room 213, cleaned regularly and with quality! Buying a trip to the island and taking boats here from Nahid (Nahid) - had a lot of fun, everything was well organized! All staff are friendly and willing to help, there have been exceptions, but about this below. The hotel has a small shop, you can buy some change and drinks. We had lunch and sometimes dinner here in the street cafe until on Friday a waiter named Nuwan suggested that I go out to drink the drinks I was going to purchase from them ON THE BEACH SUNBEDS!!! as they did not have enough tables to accommodate us! And if we were willing to pay for a full dinner, there would be places immediately! And it's not about the money, we just didn't want to eat! Strange position of the hotel, themselves invited in an information letter to the festive dinner and themselves refused accommodation! I spoke to the hotel manager and I didn't see the understanding of the issue. She offered me coupons, for lunch or dinner and said there would be more tables next time, but the impression was already ruined! I've never seen anything like this before, and for the first time I felt like a second-class person! We decided not to dwell on the situation or spoil our holidays, since we had a few days left. Discovered other wonderful cafes on the island! The hotel isn't bad overall, but I'm not coming back here! In the evenings, I recommend going to the other side of the island, there are great sunsets!

We spent a week on this charming local Island and stayed in the Season Paradise. We were really impressed by the ambiance of this place. I believe it is a bit different experience than staying in a luxury resort but a perfect way to get some feeling of the lifestyle of the Maldivian people.
The hotel crew was exceptional in professionalism, helpfulness, and flexibility. They managed to solve every our special queries. I would also highlight Kiran and the crew from the restaurant, they did a very great job of putting together the daily dinner menu (was different nation tastes every night) which was very tasty and well prepared.
We took a surf lesson which was also well organized by the excursion center of the hotel. Hanoon and his colleague was a true expert in watersports and nature around the island.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room with the ocean view is a must-have. The infinity pool on the 6th floor was the best place to relax and drink some fruit juice ordered from the bar, not to mention the stunning view of the ocean. We almost every day swam with sharks and saw dolphins around the island.

I was 01 week now in December 2024 with my wife and daughter. We stayed in the Palm View suite and the room was perfect for us. The hotel is very well located, right in front of Bikini Beach. We were very well received and served by the Season Paradise team, with emphasis on the kindness of the reception girls and the whole team of cleaners and restaurants, from breakfast (which is very good) to dinner. All the tours in the area can be easily scheduled through the hotel with the efficient staff at Amphybuzz. I highly recommend the hotel and hope to return soon to this paradise. Thank you Season Paradise team!!

We spent some days in this hotel and our stay was very good. Nice and clean room, nice service, nice view.
The buffet menu has a lot of variety to choose from, even if the price is quite high (if the price would have been more affordable, I think we would have chosen the buffet option more nights and also for the lunch time).
The beach is nice, even if there was constructions in progress next to it.
The bar on the beach is very nice, with a lot of shadow and they offer a good menu with fresh juices, burgers and fries.

Things did not fall in place right from the beginning. As I arrived at the airport there was no one to receive me( this was confirmed by the hotel and i had sent my flight details as well). Then I checked with some other hotel staffs who had come to receive their guests and they directed me to an information centre, from where I could call. When I called the person found me at the information centre and not with much of welcoming attitude guided me to the ferry. Secondly, One of my main intention was to do some fun water activities with my family in Maldives and I had mentioned this to the hotel guys much before my travel. I also gave my rough itinerary which they said their excursion manager will help me with. Once I reach there I realised they are least bothered about any excursions or activities and the there was no excursion manager as such and there was another team Amphibuz who manages tour at their will 🤭. I kept discussing with them and tried explain why i am here and to take me for atleast a sandbank tour, which they kept saying tomorrow tomorrow. As if they are paying me for the tour. Then I walked around and found another freelance excursion operators and thankfully went with them and had a good experience. The activities written in the hotel’s page are a scam and fake. There is NO bicycle or water park or table tennis or walking tour etc and the worst thing is that the front office staffs have no clue how to or where to get a bicycle from🤷🏻♂️. Overall activities wise the hotel and the commitments was very poor but the food was really good, housekeeping staffs were very good. Great pool, good beach front , great location .. so only try this place if you are just planning for laid back vacation with zero expectations.

Response from Maha Muhusin, Marketing at Season Paradise
Responded Nov 16, 2021
Dear Mr.Jayakumar, Greetings from Season Paradise. Thank you for your feedback. We are saddened to hear that your experience at Season Paradise did not meet your expectations. We would like to know more regarding your experience at the airport and in regards to booking excursions. If you can share the details via info@seasonparadise.mv at your convenience, it would be very much appreciated. As per our records, our airport representative met you at the airport at the time of arrival and guided you to the scheduled ferry and met you at the time of departure and assisted you in organising a last minute request for a tour as well. With regards to the vehicle that was requested, we always cater guest requests subject to availability. In this case, your request was at the time of our guests departure and the vehicles were busy, this was communicated with you and an alternative option was arranged for you with a third party. In terms of activities, there is no mention of a water park on our page and no activity has been falsely advertised. Bicycle tours and walking tours are arranged upon request, and our staff had clearly explained to you where you will be able to rent bicycles, however you had wanted to rent motorbikes, which are not easily available on the island for rent. As for excursions, your stay was three days, and we had to cancel the scheduled excursions due to bad weather during those days as per our policy. Safety of our guests and staff are our utmost priority. As for dinner, you arrived on a Thursday and we had our weekly scheduled BBQ dinner with live music that night in the garden area. We apologise if you had missed it. We would also like to mention that our booking.com response rate is almost 100% and all our guests would receive a reply in less than 12 hours at least. All your messages were also replied within few hours time. However, once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused and we hope we would get the chance to welcome you back again and give you an improved Season Paradise experience.

Hello!
Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, the island of Thulusdhoo is not allowing non-vaccinated guests or guests vaccinated with Covaxin to travel here at the moment.
However, it is possible that it will change soon.
