Good hotel for a multi-night or overnight stay in the area. Reasonably priced in comparison to other comparable-quality motels in town. Linens and furniture in good condition. Bed comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom spacious. Carpet was older, but in good condition. Microwave and good sized microfridge present. WiFi was a decent speed for basic Internet and streaming shorter videos (around 5 Mbps). AC worked well on one of the hottest days on record for Ukiah. Location was not perfect, but acceptable either for visiting town or for passing through on 101.

Only two concerns dropped my rating to 4: First, the "hot" portion of the advertised "hot" breakfast consisted of eggs and waffles. No biscuits and gravy, sausage, or bacon. Just scrambled eggs. (And many hotels don't consider waffles as part of a 'hot' breakfast). Second, the check in form indicated a $3 nightly service fee. When I asked about this, the desk clerk flatly told me that it was for "amenities." I had to seek further clarification that he was referring to WiFi as the amenity in question. He also claimed it is advertised online, but I confirmed that it's not (at least on Choice Hotels' website). Ukiah isn't Las Vegas, so it's not appropriate to sneak "amenity fees" onto the folio. And it actually didn't end up on my final receipt, despite having to sign for it at check in. Maybe it's just included in the nightly rate? This is just poor business practice, and confusing since it didn't end up on my final receipt and the clerk was so flat and unempathetic about making me sign for it.

Regardless, I would definitely stay again the next time I pass through.

This is an older property but is well-maintained. I asked for the quietest room which is 257. The 1950s origins are apparent but everything was clean. I like retro rooms if they are clean and functional and this was. The breakfast was better than some more expensive hotels. Another advantage is that this is 3 blocks from the Hertz agency, on the same side of the street. There is good dining along this same stretch.

The Quality Inn is an older hotel. The room was basic. There was only one luggage rack so one of our suitcases took up a chair. There was a decent sized mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom had a small sized toilet. The breakfast included coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, toast, and waffles.

This is an average Quality Inn. My room was fairly clean and the bed was ok. When I arrived they asked me to sign the usual sign-in form. Included on the form was a $2.50 cleaning fee surcharge. I refused to sign this price gouge. Then the refrigerator in my room was dirty. Despite advertising a hot breakfast online the breakfast was a lousy "Grab + GO" with no fruit. When I tried to get ice, the ice machine was not working (it appeared to have flipped a circuit breaker). Like everything else in California the price was high. Come-on guys, you can do better for these prices.

The room was merely adequate. The worst was the bed. The mattress sagged so badly in the middle that we were almost sleeping on top of each other. If we weren't so tired from driving we might have had a bad night. Everything else was ok. The breakfast bag contained a bagel, piece of fruit, and juice and there was coffee. Not my idea of a breakfast, but during covid this seems to be the norm at most low end hotels. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into a better place on our travel date. Also, the pool was drained.

Our room smelled very bad like cigarettes.
There was no counter in the bathroom. Had to put my makeup on the toilet for space.
It does have a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Pool but no hot tub. Didn’t get a chance to see if it was clean.

I stayed in a room with my grandson. We both agreed the hotel was well-named. The room was already cool when we arrived--the outside temperature was 105 so it was nice not to have to wait for the room to cool down. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet. What did I like best of all? The bathroom. I haven't stayed anywhere recently that had such a great bathroom! Instead of a sink separate from the tub/shower and toilet area, it was one room with plenty of space to move around and get ready at either end of the day! What a luxury!!

This was a terrible experience. If you are looking for somewhere to rest, dont stay here! It was so dirty. The carpet was filthy and sticky. The doors had dirt and fingerprints so bad that the door was black in places. It smelled horrible. I felt robbed because they charged $360 for 2 rooms!

Staff on duty was friendly, efficient and helpful The rooms were spotless and the bed very comfortable. TV, refrigerator, desk, good lighting, ac/heat, double curtains, light weight and heavy, usual amenities in the large bathroom, good hot water. Close to downtown Ukiah but not noisy. Did not use the pool but it looked inviting.

This hotel was alright for one night. Quite expensive for what you’re actually getting but that seemed to be the theme of hotels in ukiah that weekend. Room was very small with an oddly sized bathroom, but overall clean. Hotel staff was nice and accommodated a late checkout so my friend could sleep while I worked in the morning. Pool is essentially in the parking lot and probably wouldn’t use it. Wouldn’t go there to hang out but fine to sleep for one night.

Yes, they do, but it is a small fee - though I can't remember exactly how much. We stayed in Ukiah because the fee was FAR less than where we were originally planning to stay.
