The hotel is located close to downtown truckee, very convenient to everything you need, especially in a snowy day! The service is super, love both the front desk ladies, and many thanks to Mary who takes time to find me a vacancy in a sold out situation. The hotel provides free wifi and breakfast, pet friendly and even have a...

Noise from the room next door that the hotel staff never did anything about. Well they asked if we wanted to change rooms at 2am. When we checked into the room it smelled like BO and they couldn't do anything about it because they were sold out.

Our multi-family group enjoyed the BW, its big breakfast, and its dining area in the evenings for cards/games. When we arrived, the hot tub wasn't working, which was a bummer, as our kids were all looking forward to a nice dip in the spa while it was snowing -after a long day of snowboarding. The BW staff had the pool...

This hotel is conveniently located if you plan on activities near Northstar, Squaw Valley, or Donner Lake area. It's what I would expect from a Best Western Plus: clean, comfy beds, not old decor, breakfast. It is very pricey though, especially when compared to what it used to cost before Best Western took over.

Great beds, I mean really nice with comfy mattress cover. Great location, just outside of Truckee, but just a very short trip into Truckee. Decent breakfast. Lokked like a lodge rather than a Best Western chain motel.

I would probably have given this hotel 4 or even 5 points if it were based solely on the room. The room was big, clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. There was a microwave and mini-fridge (VERY Helpful). The room was a little dark...I discovered one of the lamps was broken. Some of the bathroom tiles were loose and the night...

Front desk was very accommodating and liked the location. Ok for a short stay. Rooms are small and you can hear everything but they provide a good breakfast and you will see lots of families and kids.

Stayed one night for a day of skiing at Sugar Bowl. Room was clean, beds comfy, nice large refrigerator and microwave. Nice decor. Free breakfast was nothing exciting, but it was acceptable: scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, toast, muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. The decor of the hotel was much nicer than I expected. For a simple place to get...

This hotel must have been recently renovated. The room was very nice, extremely comfortable bed, nicely furnished, and a great bathroom (granite counters, super clean, etc.) The included breakfast was so good - much better than the usual. There were freshly scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, assorted drinks, and a do-it-yourself waffle maker. The breakfast room itself was also nice,...

This place was completely horrible. I despised it. For starters, we had adjoining rooms booked and they gave them away. We were given two rooms side-by-side, so that was not that big of a deal. The hotel smells funny. We were told that the heater for the pool and hot tub was broken. I am very surprised that this is...
