This hotel is great! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you a list of all the great things to do around the area. Central location near the cute town of Truckee. Rooms are very well appointed and very differently furnished much more on the European flavor. They offer a wonderful buffet breakfast. Being a gluten free eater there...

I have stayed here several times and it never lets me down. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated a little on the contemporary side, but very warm. On my recent visit I had a room upstairs with a balcony that overlooked the trees. At some hotels the included breakfast is an afterthought, not here! It is served buffet style...

This is a truly unique hotel. From the incredible architecture and the immaculate and cozy rooms, to the delicious food and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, this is a very special place. It was one of our best hotel experiences. Everyone went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable stay. The owners, Jeff & Patty, are so gracious, generous...

Had a really nice time. Staff helpful and pleasant, rooms clean and new. Attended one of the "pop-up" cooking classes which was really good fun and highly recommended. Would definitely go back. Cedar House is a 2 mins out of Town so close enough to enjoy all the things going on but far enough away not to be caught in...

Surprising venue for these parts. Having just spent an evening at a Casino in Reno, we were pleasantly delighted by the new, hip, uber clean hotel, the chic rooms and the friendly, very helpful staff. Breakfast was great also - first BnB Ive ever been to that actually offered steel cut oats. They have taken their time to do it...

Two nights ago we attended a "pop up" dinner at Ceder House and it will not be the last one we do. The food was outstanding, service was beyond great, and the entire experience was fantastic. I am not sure how often they do the pop up dinners, but it's not frequent enough. I think the next one is in...

We absolutely loved our stay with the Cedar House Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were a little worried that there wasn't a gym, but this was ultimately the best part, it forced us to go out and enjoy a beautiful run in the park! The staff gave us wonderful recommendations of places to go and nearby...

Excellent place, outstanding service. Meticulously clean, friendly staff, great service. For example, they did all the work on arranging and connecting with our rental car, offered to give us a ride to the train station on our last morning (but we decided to walk instead), printed out maps for us, gave us half a can of the delicious oatmeal they...

We stayed at the lovely boutique hotel for 2 nights while we were in the area for a wedding at the nearby Martis Camp Lodge. The location is great! It feels remote, yet is just minutes from trails, restaurants, and Martis Camp. The staff was pleasant and efficient, and the bedding was beyond comfortable! It was the perfect base for...

It's an excellent 4 star hotel. Stephanie at the front desk made our visit. She was great. Rooms are good. Bed was not the most comfortable. Place is well maintained. Breakfast was good. Convenient location near Truckee, not far from north shore to Tahoe. We will return.
