We went for a big wedding and we had a wonderful time. The booking process was great with the help of Drew. He was very kind, accommodating and responded very quickly to my inquiries. All the staff on property were just as responsive and always greeted you with a smile. We promptly greeted by a bellman and didn't have to...

This does not have a view of Lake Tahoe, but if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle, then I would definitely recommend this quiet north side. There is plenty to do on property: outdoor pool & hot tubs, outdoor games, indoor spa with separate outdoor adult pool, a Ritz Kids program, and hiking trails. Also, the...

Everything about this resort is top notch. It is a little isolated but the amenities more than make up for the location. I personally do not like the crowds and hustle of this South Lake Tahoe area. The Ritz is close enough to the lake and other attractions but not so close that you feel crowded and rushed. As far...

The Ritz is lovely--we were there in the summer and while it was fairly quiet, it wasn't deserted by any means. It's in a beautiful spot, BUT it's not particularly close to the lake or to Truckee (both are 10-15 minutes in opposite directions). I wasn't expecting it to be such a ski resort, but it definitely is--set back from...

Although the building is magnificent and the sunset view is spectacular that's where the good points end. We spent a wonderful family week in Tahoe and went to the Ritz for drinks and dinner. We were nicely dressed and there were 6 of us so we shouldn't have been overlooked. It seems the wait staff is either poorly trained, new,...

Good day, suburbangirlNewYork, We sincerely value your feedback and will use this information to make necessary improvements. Rest assured this is not typical of the level of service you can expect to receive at our resort. Sincerely, Joseph Mattioli, General Manager

The property is nestled in the side of a mountain. It's updated . The food at the pool is actually good. 10 minutes to Lake Tahoe. Nice pool. Rooms are appointed well. They lose one star because you either have the Ritz Carlton experience with regards to service or you have these employees peppered through out the are new and...

Phenomenal service throughout stay. Extremely friendly staff and always available to help. Guest rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable, We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Perfectly prepared scallops and lots of local ingredients. This is a true gem in the Lake Tahoe region.

Stayed for 5 nights in June. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping service was spotty. For example, having used several coffee pods one day, housekeeping did not replace them. It was a Nespresso machine, however, so that was a nice touch. Also, I used the toothbrush and toothpaste kit which was provided in the bathroom and It was...

Hotel is just off the lake, but close by. Plenty to do on property for coupes and kids. Great rooms with nice mountain views. Great meeting facilities and staff. Highly recommended for business meetings.

Despite the fantastic building, scenery, food and service, the prices are outrageous. If felt like we were burning money. A better slopeside experience for us, with a better village and more expansive ski terrain, is the Resort at Squaw Creek and Squaw Valley.
