I was here recently for a conference. Getting to this location from the East coast is a bit like planes, trains and automobiles, but it was worth it. The property is beautiful. The room was immaculate and spacious, with its own fireplace. The weather was cold and rainy, but the staff was always Ritz Carlton sunny. The conference rooms were...

This Ritz Carlton hotel is lovely and located in a beautiful setting. However we visited the hotel Oct. 8 - 12th. We were told by hotel staff this is their "slow" season for staffing as the staff goes on vacation after the summer season and before the winter season starts. Hence everything was slow - the bar service, restaurant wait...

Dear Deborah H: Please accept my sincere apology for the disappointing experience you encountered during your recent visit to our resort. I deeply regret that your stay with us did not meet your expectations, especially the delay in service you experienced the food and beverage outlets. The Ritz is perched into the mountains and offers truly breathtaking scenery. The outdoor areas are spacious and well furnished -- the chairs around the fire pits are especially comfortable. We very much enjoyed evenings of drinks and snacks around the fire. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. There was a mix-up with our reservation, and so we...

This is a beautiful hotel! My wife and me love the hotel architecture and setting in Lake Tahoe. The service is outstanding all around. The only thing we did not like was the in-room food. Way over priced for the quality. Go to the Manzanita Restaurant in the lobby instead.

When you want to get a way from the pressures of work and daily life and treat your whole family to a getaway weekend, Tahoe is always a great option. I had been promising my kids to return to Tahoe and had not done so for a few years. So I thought I would splurge and stay at the Ritz...

Wonderful property. Staff was outstanding. I gave up skiing a few years back and just being at this property make me want to ski again. We will be returning to the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe soon. The whole experience gets a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10.

This hotel was spectacular. We stayed in the fall and can only imagine how incredible it is with the mountains covered in snow. It is convenience to Tahoe City and Truckee. Their were great areas in the hotel to relax by the fire and lots of space outside to take in the views.
