My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here at emerald forest. We brought our 19 ft. trailer so we needed full hookups and it was perfect. The park is beautiful set in large redwood trees. The staff is friendly, the restrooms/showers are clean and the water is nice and warm. They charge extra for more than 2 guests and...

We spent a night here and enjoyed walking the grounds with the huge redwood trees surrounding the cabins. The kiddos enjoyed the playground and the arcade. Great parking right in front of our cabin. The staff was helpful. However, the whole town of Trinidad and the hotel shut down fairly early. Sleepy place.

I was looking for a place to camp when I visited Redwoods National Park on my vacation and came across Emerald Forest Cabins & RV. I took a look online and decided to rent one of their cabins instead. I figured it would be the rainy season and it would just be more practical to stay in a warm cabin....

My husband and I stayed here one night while exploring the Trinidad area. We stayed in Terri's Cabin. We were pleasantly surprised at the newly remodeled look of the cabin. Very clean with nice firm , newer mattress. The walk in shower in the bathroom was large enough for two, in fact it had 2 shower heads across from each...

When we made our reservation we asked for a site that was more private because we have two small dogs. (There is a small pet fee of $2 per dog, per night.). We were told that the site that we were given, number 94, was more private. I posted a picture of the site that we were put in. There...

Living room area was separate from bedroom, internet, quiet. Nothing fancy but a great location to get to redwood parks and beaches. Easy to get to from either north or south ramps for the 101. The property is very large so it is convenient to just stroll around the property underneath the large redwoods. Parking is right outside the door...

Nice park with helpful staff. It truly is in the redwoods. There are redwoods all over the place! We stayed in a RV and dropped in. We did not have reservations. The office staff was nice and the place was clean. My only minor issue was that our pad was not completely level.

Our family stayed in cabin C. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is open and equipped for cooking. A gas fire place warms the living and dining area very nicely. The beds are comfortable and the place was clean. The location is ideal for day trips to the Ocean or the Redwoods. This cabin is great for...

A real gem in one of the prettiest place in the US. Great location and town with lots to do outdoors nearby. The parks nearby have much to offer, with amazing beaches, elk herds, kayaking with river otter, and the incredible "Lady Bird Johnson Forest" with the largest, and I mean massive trees that we have ever seen. Too big...

We camped at Emerald Forest a couple of weeks ago with our trailer and two dogs. The setting is lovely with tons of tall redwoods! The campsites are spread out (unlike most RV parks and campgrounds) and quite private. This park is super close to Patrick's Point State Park (which is one of the prettiest places on the planet)! There...
