Nestled in a scenic spot, The Lodge at Tiburon draws praise for its prime location and amenities like the pool and fire pit, complemented by free bikes. While the rooms are often described as clean and exude a welcoming vibe, some guests feel that the hotel's value is diminished by extra fees and inconsistent service quality. The atmosphere is enhanced by live music and tranquil surroundings, though opinions on room upkeep and amenities vary. Overall, the staff's friendliness is acknowledged, despite occasional service hiccups.

I love this place and will definitely come back. The Lodge is very cozy and clean and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Huge shout out to Javier at the front desk. He acknowledged that we were celebrating a birthday and gave us extra special attention. The pool is smallish but kept us cool during very hot days. There is a complimentary happy hour when you can try local wines. The Tavern next door has great food. The fire pit in the evening was lovely to sit by when the day cooled off into evening. The Lodge had everything we needed. It is great for families, dogs and anyone looking for a self contained, clean, reasonably priced accommodations in the Marin Area.

The location of the Lodge at Tiburon is great, we also enjoyed the attached restaurant. For traveler awareness, there is a "resort fee" added to the bill, for very standard amenities, pool, small fitness center, fire pit. We did not care for the extra charge for such standard items, especially since we did not use any of them. Prefer that hotel costs are built into the base price. Its off-putting to be charged for baseline amenities.

I was 100% blown away by the customer service at the Tiburon Lodge. When I was checking in I was talking with the front desk man. During our small talk I mentioned that I was worried about traveling with a baby and wether or not she would be able to sleep in the room. He suggested I upgrade to another room. The upgrade fee was totally reasonable so it went for it. He realized that this might not solve my issue so after clicking around he realized that the room I upgraded to still did not have a separate space. The hotel did have a suite with a separate space but it was booked. Now this is where I was blown away. He picked up the phone and called the person that had that room booked. He said that lots of people book online and don't really know what they booked. Whats the harm in asking if they really want that room? So he calls and the other group booked it cause they wanted to put 4 people in the room and the fold out in the separate space would handle the extra 2 people. The front desk man said I can do one better and give you connecting rooms for the same rate. So we both ended up with a much better experience. I never would have expected that sort of service and real problem solving this day in age. I had a truly great stay and everything went great with the baby.

Overpriced and lacking . Dogs barking in the room above us. Small and old bathroom. Stain on pillow case. Noisy hum from refrigerator, had to unplug it. Grinding noise on bathroom faucet handle. View of gravel roof and pipes. Room quote was $366.86 but with the add-ons(taxes, parking, wifi) it came to $447.00. Avoid this place.

Reserved a room 4 months ago. I drove 3 hours with my family, went to check in and was told that they had canceled my reservation for "maintenance issues." No phone call from them. No assistance offered to find another hotel to stay at. No apologies offered. They had no problem accepting a $450 payment for this room, but couldn't even call me when they found out about this "maintenance issue." I'm disgusted with the service at this location. Weekend trip ruined because they couldn't give me a quick call.

$400.00 for a backed up sink, no food and rude service. It was a last minute decision, I wish I would have done some research. Thank goodness there were some nice folks staying at the lodge that invited my daughter and I to hang out at the fire pit, they shared some snacks with us. I would love to share a picture of the sink and backsplash however I cannot upload on this site.

The Lodge at Tiburon looks exactly as it appears on their website - stunning views, perfect location - the only issue is there was not enough time to enjoy all the features it offers - pool, outdoor fire, bike riding. All that will wait for my next visit. A short stroll to the SF ferry, and also to the Old Rail Trail as well as steps from dining and shopping. Your staff was exceptionally warm and rooms so comfy, too!

Maybe I shouldn't expect. But for the price, the location and the reviews I read, I decided to pay the price. Location is great and the town of Tiburon is wonderful. The hotel itself has potential. the room smelled weird, and it was lucky that weather permitted to open the windows. The shower was small, and the water was coming out from top shower head and from the faucet below. there is an unjustified fee you pay at the hotel.

For our needs, the location of The Lodge at Tiburon was perfect. There’s a restaurant on site, though over-priced, and friendly, efficient staff at the front desk. At check in, guests are asked to request housekeeping for services you may want daily. Over our 6-day stay, we made easy requests twice (remove soiled towels, empty wastebaskets, fresh coffee cups) and the response was wrong and incomplete both times. The room is best described as basic. The bed was comfortable and parking easy and convenient.

I honestly think as long as you avoid rush hours either airport should be fine. I will say that SFO is pretty nice & has good food if that matters to you. & the drive from SFO to tiburon was fairly easy. I would say pick the airport with the best flights.

The Hippy Tree is accessed from Gilmartin road. You follow the dirt road that branches off Gilmartin and up a hill--its to the left. There is really no place to park except for a random spot a little ways up Gilmartin on the right side of the road. You have to park and walk from there.

Hey... everything in Tiberon is close to walking distance. The Tiburon hotel has bicycles you can borrow without charge... I highly recommend you go to the Angel Island Ferry dock right on main street and enjoy the trip to Angel island where I believe you can walk/bike ride. GO to Angel Island Ferry site and find and tell Captain Maggie I sent you. Captain Maggie also hosts Sunset Cruises which are amazing and affordable.. ask! Beside the Angel Island Ferry Dock in Tiberon, is the Blue and Gold Ferry that will take you straight over the water to the City landing along fisherman's wharf.. check here for schedules and costs.. look up blue and gold ferry Highly recommend Angel Island Ferry and Captain Maggie for tours and sighseeing.. use Blue and Gold for transport only across the bay! Enjoy!
