Wonderful stay! Thanks to Tom for being so helpful! Truly a gorgeous area and the hotel was perfect in every way. Good sized room and all the amenities make this a very special place. The views are beautiful and the surrounding areas as well.

This property was phenomenal from the welcome to the goodbye and my wife and I cannot wait to come back. We were there to celebrate a babymoon and wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. We booked a "View King" and found out we had been upgraded. The room was gorgeous if not for some minor imperfections that the maintenance team can easily attend to. The view was truly spectacular and worth every penny. Going to sleep staring at the SF skyline with only the sounds of the boats below gently knocking against their moorings was what we were looking for. My wife being 38 weeks pregnant wanted nothing else. The staff were the true highlight to our experience. We arrived to a check in desk staffed by Jonathan and Lupita. It was Jonathan's first day and though there were a few stumbles in his check-in presentation, by the end of our stay (2 days later) he was performing as though he had been there for years! He's a natural people person and it shows in his grace and mannerisms. Truly a great hire and I hope he welcomes guest to the property for a long time to come. Martin, Nancy and the breakfast & housekeeping ladies (so sorry I didn't catch their names) were great. Cant wait to come back.

The hotel is nice and great location. I upgraded to a room with a view but sorry I did. The view was ok but overlooked the restaurant next door which was very loud. The room needed some refreshing such as furniture has lots of scuff marks and woodwork had scratched off paint. Tiny balcony with one chair. Did not use it. Excellent in room breakfast and coffee and tea always available. All in all our stay was nice.

The location is walking distance from everything. We ate at the cafe below and woke up to a balcony overlooking the water. The complimentary wine and chocolate was a nice touch I will be sure to book again in the future

I really wanted to love this place, we went for a quick overnight for my birthday...but I'm giving it 3 1/2 stars. Check in was quick. You can park your car across the street and a bell person will help you with your bags. We went to the room and it was ok. For the money we paid I was expecting much better. The furniture has scuffs on it, and the room NEEDS a paint job. The very small balcony has one chair on it and lots of bird poop and a kinda view of the bay...but that is a stretch. The shower had a few very long hairs in it. It wasn't all bad..they did bring back happy hour in the lobby. Nice wine and appetizers. There is a nice deck over looking the bay but the furniture on the deck is in need of being replaced. They offer breakfast in bed..the night before you choose what you want off the menu and they deliver it to your door. My coffee was very cold and the toaster that was in the room looked like it was from 1970..and it burnt one side of my bagel.

The hotel was lovely. Right in the heart of little Tiburon. Nice kind staff, clean rooms, great deck on the back for drinks. All of that was wonderful until it was time to go to bed. Unfortunately, we had a room that was at the front of the hotel on the street side. It was very loud. You could hear every thing out on the street, cars running, staff activity in the kitchen area. And the delivery trucks, trash trucks all started at 5:30 in the morning!. There was no sleeping after that. I had two teenage girls with me who were completely exhausted the next day. It really affected our plans that day. If you can get a room towards the back of the hotel it would probably be fine. But, I would definitely avoid the front of the hotel. I did mention this when we checked out but there was no accommodations made for us. I expected more for a high end hotel.

When I last visited SF 15 years ago I swore I would escape the foggy city on my next visit and stay on the sunny shore across the bay… So visiting with my husband this time, we chose Tiburon as our base (also because the easy ferry ride across the bay was so much more appealing than having to battle the metropolitan traffic). We couldn’t have chosen a better base. Water’s Edge was absolutely lovely in every respect, from its superb location on the water, skyline views of the city, super-friendly staff and lots of little extras like the lovely fireplace (you can pick up extra logs at reception) and the goody-bag and two half bottles of wine Martin handed us on arrival. Not to mention the bowl of Swiss chocolates at reception… Parking just one block away at $15/day was also convenient. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. We had room 217 which was on the second floor with partial water views and only a couple of steps away from the phenomenal roof terrace with breath-taking views, great sun loungers and a nightly fire-pit. We enjoyed the pre-order breakfast (fill in the quite extensive menu the night before) – there were breads, bagels, pastries, porridge, cream cheese, peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, salmon and much more to choose from. There is a toaster and a fridge in the room but no safe. The restaurants nearby (we had lunch at Sam’s and a beautiful birthday dinner at Luna Blu) are excellent and just steps away. The hotel truly was the perfect base for us and we would highly recommend it.
