We recently stayed one night at the Waters Edge Hotel and were quite pleased and impressed. Traveling these days carries an element of risk but the rooms at Waters Edge are spotlessly clean and the staff follows all health and safety protocols. We kept contact to a minimum, but the staff we did interact with were friendly, helpful and cheerful. The hotel is well located, about a 2 minute walk to several good restaurants. In short, our stay was comfortable and safe and we recommend this hotel if you are visiting Tiburon!
Great vibe. Beautiful rooms. We lived on the back porch for the days we were there. Comfy c hairs and firepit and views, so chill. We loved Waters Edge. Restaurant next door, so convenient. In room breakfast, every morning, too great for words. We never moved. Why would we?!
Lovely spot and great staff. The room was perfect and comfy. Linens of high quality fireplace and bath tub a pleasant find. Also the location is perfect for walking. Excellent continental breakfast in room was a nice touch. Wine and cheese in the evening also wonderful. Also if hiking in Muir Woods don't forget to pre order parking pass . Allison at the front desk was so helpful and friendly making sure we had a time slot for the afternoon hike. Close to everything. Highly recommend! We will return soon.
Boutique to the max; only one staff person on duty at certain times, which didn't turn out to be a big deal for us. Lovely and very high quality wine/gourmet snacks spread nightly from 5 to 7. Service was first rate. Breakfast is delivered to your room; again, very high quality. Location is amazing; full on view of the SF skyline, Angel Island and Alcatraz and a portion of the Bay Bridge. Room was fine and included our own outdoor sitting area and table with the same view. Only problem was at times the view included other guests sitting in a public area and the same was the case with the view from our indoor sitting area. One large group was a fairly constant presence right outside our window as well as being somewhat though not overly noisy after 10 pm. I'm not suggesting there's much the hotel can or should do about people hanging out there since being able to walk a short distance to enjoy the same view for which we paid twice as much as non view rooms and well over $100 more than rooms with a view of the water but not the City is a major selling point for the lower priced rooms. I'm merely suggesting that before shelling out $500 per night before taxes for one of the two Grand View rooms, that situation be taken into account. Of course there were times, both in the daytime and at night, when the public deck was empty. Another plus is several top notch restaurants nearby; had Crab Louies both nights we stayed there.…
My husband & I visited N. California for my birthday-we booked 2 nights & could have stayed longer! Perfect nautical setting overlooking San Fran skyline /bay & the beautiful hills of Tiburon! Breakfast delivered each morning to your room, happy hour, fresh baked evening cookies, bikes & a fire log for your in room fireplace all included! We ate at Sam’s for a fun, casual lunch & Luna Blu for a delicious romantic Italian Birthday dinner- both steps away! Park your car & never move it-after lots of CA driving we loved that! We walked, shopped, biked & relaxed by the fire pit on the deck. All perfect! We will be back! Thanks Tom at the front desk for all your help!
