I’ve stayed at Delights several times and never had a bad experience. They have made some changes since my last visit in 2018, all for the better. The tubs were clean and hot and any waiting time was minimal. While I love the old bungalows I stayed in a trailer this time and it was clean quiet and comfortable. In the morning I had a wonderful view of the sunrise over the mountains. The new pool is great too. Any shortages of creature comforts at Delights are more than offset by the unique character of the place. Highly recommended for those with a spirit of adventure.

We stayed here 1 night in a cottage, which was well equipped and the AC worked well. The attraction is the 4 natural hot spring tubs that we took advantage of, as well as the outdoor seating to relax in and watch nature and the stars, The tubs waters are hot, and their temp is not controllable . But we enjoyed them, esp the open air one at nights. When we went during Covid issues, the only place open for meals was in Shoshone, about 9 miles away.

So, we booked this property after reading a wonderful article all about Tecopa two months ago and we really looking forward to a desert get-away with rustic lodging and brew-pubs and fine dining. As the world's situation began evolving, I was in contact with the property... they have a 7-day cancellation clause. On the day of the cancellation - I spoke to the property and was advised that "everything is FINE" all systems go, everything in town is open for business. A day and a half later, the Governor shut down ALL breweries, bars and shuttered many restaurants. I immediately called Delights, who claimed no knowledge of this, said they'd call me back, and when they did, stated that QUOTE " we're too small for this to apply to us" uhhh.. "EXCUSE ME?? WHAT? COVID-19 cares about that? as I am in a high-risk group (which I had explained to them) I justcancelled through the booking engine and paid the penalty. I hope as the days went on, they did shut down the bar & restaurant, in accordance with State directives. We hope someday to make the trip to Tecopa when the world is in a better place - but Delight's will not be on the list, after the way they handled this situation.

Thank you for your interest in our resort. I believe you misunderstood Governor Newson's statements. He has not closed all the restaurants in the state of California. The Governor has left it up to each county to make the decision for themselves. Inyo county has not mandated anything for restaurants. The only restrictions for California so far are restaurants in the Bay Area counties and LA counties are only to do take out. We are following the CDC Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection guidance and we have removed some tables from the dining room. All the restaurants in Tecopa are remaining open at this time. With all the fear in the world at the moment, we need to make sure all statements are strictly fact-based and not fear-driven. Statements like this can really harm local businesses and our economy.

We wanted to “take the waters” and picked this place. $20 per person for a day pass...that is the least expensive option. Only 4 individual small rooms available and time is limited to 30 minutes per room. Water was so hot, we could only take it for 20 minutes and left. If we visit the area again, I would choose a different “resort”

Stayed in the RV park. Delights is Clean. Quiet. Awesome private baths. No WiFi. So we read all the reviews and weren’t sure which place to choose. We didn’t necessarily want separate mens and women’s baths (aka Tecopa Hot springs) or to pay extra for a private bath and we were hoping to get in to Petersons Tecopa Palms RV resort but their baths were closed today so we opted for Delights Hot Springs. Delights has four nicely decorated, clean private baths, one is open to the stars, one is larger with a bench to sit on and they have a pool with four hot tubs. Guests are allowed 30 minutes at a time in the baths which are HOT 104-106F. Tubs are open 24/7. There is a patio waiting area if all four are occupied. There is a clubhouse with books, movies, WiFi and a phone, showers. The have hotel rooms and cabins for around $100 a night, and RV spots are basically $54-60 a night as they charge $27-$30 per person to use the baths daily. They have a minimal discount for military and seniors. Staff are super friendly. Moderately Spendy for an RV park but there were plenty of people staying here (they have 44 RV spaces) and the baths were great and we were able to get a open private bath every time only waiting 10 minutes once. We liked bath 1 best it has a bench in the tub to sit on and seemed less hot, but that shower was nice and hot nit just warm. What campground is where? When coming in to town from Shoshone 1. Petersons Tecopa Palms is on right 2. Delights is across the street and down road on left 3. Tecopa hot springs - county run is the largest and main place in town 4. When coming from Tecopa the Tecopa Hot Springs is first on both sides of road with Peterson’s Tecopa Palms and Delights at the end
