We were excited to stay at Meeks Bay Resort for a family reunion weekend over Labor Day 2016. However, the toilet in our room was broken, it was clear that this was an ongoing issue but that the cabin was rented anyway. The hide-a-bed had a mattress that was so thin it was unsleepable even for the 20 somethings who...

Meeks Bay Resort says on their website that they have a marina, with boat slips and watersports rentals. It said that before we came in August, and as I am writing this in September the website still says it, but the marina has been closed all summer of 2016 and you can't get one of the pedal boats, kayaks or...

We were at the Resort the day after Labor Day 2016. We were not aware that management would allow people from Burning Man to come in and clean their vehicles and equipment. If you don't know about Burning Man, these vehicles and equipment were covered, literally covered in dirt, which contains alkaline and other various chemicals. The Burners were allowed...

We had a family reunion of 10 adults and 2 kids at the Kehlet Mansion. It was wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars but being 3 of us grandmas with bad knees the toilets were way to low! The view was spectacular with views of the lake from all sides. Yes even the back as I had that...

Considering Kehlet Mansion dates back to 1934, with all wooden floors, it has its squeaks and creaks. It is a two-story house on a spectacular location and view with a small private beach access. The accomodations are ample with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom downstairs. However, all the bathrooms badly need updating in...

Wow. I love the view. I think it's much more relaxing than Hawaii. I loved it the stretch of beach is beautiful. The cabins are a nice size wish they were a tad more up graded but overall was a great experience this was the 5th year in a row for my family.

Stayed here for two nights and three days, June 3-5, for a family reunion. We had a wonderful time and used or spent time in most of the accommodations. My immediate family reserved two camp sites, there were 9 of us and one was huge. I can't remember the site number, I think it was 9 or 11. We set...

We booked a studio cabin and initially were looking forward to our three night stay. The problems began with the faulty air fan heating system which was very noisy and would not switch off, making for a very poor night's sleep. We advised reception of this on day two and were advised the maintenance man would look at it that...

Boat hire available for kayaks, pedalos, stand up boards etc. 4 person pedalo is $35 + I.D. The only problem is that the service is so-oo slow....and antiquated! Queue's can quickly build and go down slowly. But hey...we're on holiday so relax 😆...
