The Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge is a cozy, classic mountain retreat along the banks of Lake Tahoe. Guests enjoy unparalleled mountain and lake views, year-long outdoor activities, and a quaint ambiance that makes this resort an award winner. Accommodations include studio, one, and two-bedroom condominiums decorated in traditional mountain lodge style with warm, natural wood; and featuring a gas fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen. In the warmer months, guests enjoy an outdoor heated pool overlooking Lake Tahoe, an on-site beach, and a private dock perfect for taking in a mountain sunset. A daily resort fee of $28 will be collected at time of booking. Guest must be 18 years of age or older with a valid ID and credit card to book and check-in. Front desk hours: 8am - 6pm daily. Please contact the property for late check-ins. If you have requests for specific accessibility needs, please note them at check-out when you book your room and contact the property directly to check current availability for accessible units. Please note, there is no air conditioning in the units. Renovation in the units will start January 9th and continue through March. Work will take place Monday – Friday, beginning daily at 8 AM – 5 PM.

We loved our stay at The Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. What a beautiful setting! Right on the lake, private beach, grills, pool and even Kayaks! We were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. The only drawback to our stay was that we had a studio as all other units were reserved. The Murphy bed was not ok for us oldsters- I would not recommend it! But when we go again, we will either reserve a 1 or 2 bedroom unit. All are immaculately maintained as were the grounds, beach area and grills. Flowers abound! And you are conveniently located in Tahoe Vista - with parking right outside your unit's door. Units have everything you need and then some. You may choose to walk to many nearby restaurants or prepare meals in your unit like we did. Loved this place and hope to return soon!

Are you, like us, wary of Tahoe airbnbs that constantly look cute and cabin-y (wood etc) in the photos but are old, tacky and grimy when you arrive? That charge you $300+ cleaning fee and still expect you to do half of the cleaning before you leave? That never seem to get warm? That end up being in odd out of the way places on unplowed roads? Look no further! Red Wolf Lodge was such a great find. It’s renovated. It’s CLEAN. It’s warm (maybe a bit too warm occasionally, but that’s better than the opposite.) It’s in a fabulously central location. It has a cute private beach. It wasn’t weather to try the pool or hot tub, but they were there. They have daily things happening and while you are staying send you texts about these as well as other updates (example If it’s a cleaning day) so you don’t miss stuff. Checked in late so got key from lockbox and only met staff on checkout, but seemed super friendly. This is our new go-to in Tahoe for sure.…

My review is for their customer service. I called to make a 3 night reservation and the front desk was very quick to rush me off. Their Yelp reviews are just ok, but I expected better customer service over all. It’s so hard now a days to get good old fashion CUSTOMER SERVICE

First impressions always last and upon arrival, I was greeted by the resort manager, Erin, who is amazing! She shared information about all of the week's activities and then gave me three keys to my room, one to keep in the car, which helps to eliminate getting locked out of the room. Thought that was brilliant. :) Then, I went to my room and it was amazing! The location of the resort couldn't be better for me and it is so clean! Can't wait to come back.

Everything about this resort is top notch. The location next to the water is awesome. Big pool and two spas! Lots of scheduled activities (we enjoyed the pancake breakfast on Monday). The rooms are cozy but well well updated and clean. The only drawback is very few have a view of the lake, but it’s only a very short to the pool (with a panoramic lake view), beach and dock. There’s even kayaks for rent, -lus games like ping pong, and many scheduled activities. Love the great, daily communication by text.

Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge was top notch in every respect! We were treated with 5 star customer service upon arrival by Katie, and throughout our stay they were prompt and attentive to any needs or questions we had. Very personable! Our room was cozy and perfect for two with a nice warm fireplace and full kitchen. Very satisfied and hope to return for another visit soon.

Avoid making a reservation here if you want any flexibility for your Tahoe vacation -- most unaccommodating place I've come across in terms of altering dates. I caught a flu bug and could not make it out one weekend for a ski trip; instead of empathizing and allowing a switch to the following weekend, the customer service was a hot mess of phone tags and there was a complete lack of empathy with the customer. They ended up charging me the entire amount and refused to refund even the cleaning fee because they are either that petty or struggling to stay afloat. I have booked many accommodations at Tahoe that permitted date alterations, especially since it is Tahoe and servicing primarily locals in the Bay Area -- most understand the value of long-term and repeatable customers. Clearly not these folks.…

Excellent lodging option in Kings Beach. The rooms were cozy, although a little difficult to maintain a constant temperature due to the aged units. We felt safe and the rooms were a good size. The view of the lake is outstanding. We didn’t experience any of the other amenities since we were only there a night but it was great.

We had to leave after one night because we were kept up all night by the guy in the next room who snored. We left at 11:30 am, half hour after the 11am check out time, so not only did we pay for a whole week but they charged us for the second day fee. Would not recommend.
