Our room was large and immaculately clean. The bathroom has two sinks with a shower and tub, including conditioner, cotton swabs, and cotton balls. Considering Covid they did a great job with providing a simple yet filling breakfast, and always had wrapped fruit in the lobby along with individually wrapped cups for water. One detail that I adored is that they change the floor mat in the elevator each day to mark the day of the week - so cute! Easy free parking and wonderful friendly staff. We will be back!

The hotel lobby was clean, room is good size and clean. Parking very easy and plentiful. There is a shower and bath tub with 2 sinks. WIFI in the room and lobby The location is also very good. Breakfast is basically orange juice and cereal, if you want an omelet its additional 5$. which is very ok. Breakfast is delivered to your room because of covid. The hotel is doing a very good job related to covid. There is a water fountain inside the lobby , very useful and clean, there are some fruits at the lobby, coffee in the room, One thing that was odd to me was that i placed the maid service sign at the door and room service was not done, asked the reception, they said its by request only. So i requested room service and the next day it was done. This is my only complain. Other than this, i was very satisfied and i will go back again.

We had an overall good stay. We tried multiple times to get wash cloths, and were not successful. The hotel happy hour was nice along with the complimentary breakfast. The rooms were big, and clean. The only draw back was the shower. There was a special shower head on the shower that sprays water so hard and it is not adjustable. It made showering painful. The AC also turned on and off constantly during the night, which is loud enough to wake you up. I would stay here again but speak to a manager about my issues. We asked 3 x for wash cloths, and one of the times, we were given hand towels to shower with.

I picked other, because I had several issues:
1) WiFi coverage on the second floor of building 2 of the Villas (room 254) was so bad that the internet was unuable
2) The bed in that room was really uncomfortable. It was hard as a rock
3) There really needs to be a work area in those rooms. Most people come to Silicon Valley on business. I realize those rooms are configured for an extended residential stay, but there really needs to be a desk in them.
4) You've started ending room service at 11PM, even though the web page still says you have 24-hour room service. I had some meetings that ran late enough that I didn't get back to the room until 11:10 and got quite a nasty surprise when I attempted to get something to eat (I hadn't eaten since lunch). If I'd had some prior notice of the change, I would have gotten back sooner. The front desk was pretty unsympathetic.

Overall, the experience was not up to your usual excellent standards.

Not very happy. Clean room, But cabinets were hard to open - no handles so you had to figure out a way to open drawers and door to the refrigerator (very poor.) Breakfast was included but was only for juice, banana or cold cereal. Anything like eggs cost $5. No microwave so could not warm up coffee or food when it got cold. Only one bathrobe in a room with 2 beds. No pen. If you didn't have one, you couldn't write your breakfast order.

We would stay there again, because very comfortable and great value. Free continental breakfast with extra charge of $5 for additional hot entre a great bargain. Good food. Very close to our relatives home, so location was excellent.

The hotel was clean and the king suite was a nice size with plenty of room. The front desk could have been a little more friendly instead of acting a like a robot. Please note construction is taking place next door so you may want to request staying on the other side of the building. My room was right next to the construction and the noise of trucks, people, etc. started at 7:30 AM. The room smelled sterile and everything looked clean.

We stayed at The Grand for a little over a month while in the process of relocation. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and friendly. Claudio (the manager) worked with us every step of the way to make sure The Grand was a home away from home and that we were taken care of during the whole process. Every inquiry and request was met with the utmost care and professionalism.
The Grand is located close to many places within walking distance where you can get a bite to eat, groceries, coffee, get laundry done, etc; super convenient for travelers who do not have transportation. The suite we stayed in was very clean, spacious and even had a fire place that made us feel warm and comfortable. The room was equipped with a mini-fridge only, however, upon our request, they brought up a microwave for us!
We truly appreciate all the hard work the staff put into making sure we were in good hands while going through the daunting task of relocating.

Villa was nice and quiet perfect for a break from pandemic life. Location was near grocery stores and a lot of food options. Free breakfast is cereal fruit and drink. If you want any else it’s extra and you can’t customize.

I booked this hotel solely based on the fact that they advertised a Airport shuttle. After arriving at San Jose and then contacting the hotel for information on where to pick up the shuttle, they said the shuttle was canceled because of Covid. I understand the need to cancel the shuttle because of the pandemic but without warning and significantly over a year after the pandemic started I believe the hotel should stop advertising a "Airport Shuttle". The absolute least they could have done based on good customer service was offer to pay our Uber ride to the hotel for a family of 6. They refused.

To add injurie to insult, the hotel front staff could not check us in because something was wrong with our Hotwire reservation. I could write another review on the horrible phone wait and the interface between hotwire and this hotel but long story short both businesses should be have this sort of thing figured out by now. It took us one and a half hours to check in after having to pay for two Uber rides both directions which we had to pay for.

Because of the false advertising and lack of customer care I can not recommend staying here.

Thank you for your review. Please note that our website (1st page-Statement) clearly states transporation is NOT operational. Since you decided to book through a third party, you should redirect your comments to them as they failed to inform you. Additionally, we do have 800 number you could have contacted us and would have informed you. Last but not least, it is also not the hotel's fault if the company you chose to do a reservation with, are unable to send us a copy of the booking.... We apologize for the inconvenience caused, but clearly, not a Hotel's fault. No false advertising on our end, please call any hotels ahead of time in the future or book direct. You will see clearly a difference.

Hello. Yes, the happy hour is complementary and held from 5-6pm each day including weekends. For a quiet room I would request anything but the 1st floor. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet. Enjoy your stay.
