It’s clear the hotel is an old renovated hotel from the outside. However, once inside, it’s a great experience an awesome boutique hotel. I feel the price point was awesome for the experience….great value for short overnight trips. Will come back for sure
Was a great stay! Staff was really friendly, rooms were clean, had breakfast, was simple but we were always on the go, so that’s all we needed, and location was central to the places we were going to. Was a great value and would definitely stay here again.
Very nice and they were very helpful. His name was shay. The breakfast was good and thank you Atas (Fawn)! She head very helpful with everything as well! She went the extra mile to help with everything that we needed. Also the front desk was very accommodating!
So dissatisfied in how Sean Hadley handed my needs and requests. I've been lied to and betrayed. He could have offered me a free night stay for my next visit and told me how he appreciated my business over the last two years. Especially since I called multiple times asking if I could leave early and be refunded and both times was told yes. It's my fault I don't remember the names of both people who told me it was all good. I was even on hold while they checked if I could checkout early and if I could be refunded even though I had paid cash up front. I'm incredibly disappointed. I left a yelp review to reflect it and will make sure everyone who comes to stay there for the same medical needs will be aware of my disappointment.
Paper thin walls. Don't stay here if you want a good night sleep or young children. My son heard things I did not want him to hear from our next door neighbor. The noise level from the streets are really loud.
First and foremost the location is the main highlight. It's right across El Camino with lots of restaurants and markets. The hotel facility is neatly maintained. The front office staff was polite and courteous. Special mention to the front-office staff - Shay. Shay was very helpful, responsive to requests and provided wonderful customer service. The housekeeping staff were prompt everyday and thoroughly cleans the carpet, arranges the bed, replaces the linen and bath towels. The room is equipped with properly working microwave, small refrigerator, single serve coffee maker with complimentary pods, a nice big screen TV and guess what - strong wifi which is free for the hotel guest. The hotel provides Complimentary Hot Breakfast. The Complimentary Wine on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is a nice touch. All in all, I had a good experience in this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I get a chance, I will choose Wild Palms for my next stay.…
We have been taking our business here for many years, and they are always amenable and go above and beyond. This year, they did not disappoint. Yesenia in particular (and a young gentleman that I didn't catch the name of) were very patient with our group and took great care in helping us put out any fires that arose. There were over 30 of us and really appreciate the hospitality. Would recommend :)
For a place in the Bay Area, particularly one only a few blocks from Apple Park, the price for a room here was suspiciously cheap so I wasn't expecting much even though the reviews were good. I was pleasantly surprised that the place turned out to be an all-around great stay and exceeded expectations in every area. The hotel itself isn't a new building, but is in good shape and seemed like it was being taken care of. Also, all the hallways are open to the outside, which is a plus from the standpoint of someone being careful about airborne illness. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was quick. I tried the Apple Wallet virtual keycard for the first time, and while it recognized my room number immediately it seemed to take a little while before it actually was able to unlock the door. Once it kicked in, though, it worked perfectly and I started just using my watch instead of the card. The room was more spacious than average, very clean, everything was in good condition, and overall quite comfortable. Nice large desk with an office chair if you want to get work done, although it wasn't the best to use at a table for two for take-out food. Decor was super-funky retro beach-house style, but it wasn't ugly or impractical so no complaints there (the bed did indeed have a faux mosquito-net drape like in the photos). The bathroom, commendably, had individual large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap, so no waste in terms of those stupid individual hotel bottles, plus they weren't attached to the tub so you could use the body soap as hand soap if prefer that to a bar. Coffee maker was a Keurig-type, although they did include one pod for tea, so props there from a non-coffee-drinker. Free breakfast was above average; not a large variety, but they had serve-yourself fresh creamy oatmeal with a selection of mix-ins and not-off-the-shelf yogurt cups with a selection of fruit and/or granola mixed in, which is wildly better (and healthier) than instant oatmeal or most of the other things you see at a standard breakfast spread. The hotel is in the Indian part of town, so the nearby restaurant selection (some in easy walking distance) skews very heavily in that direction. Earlier in the trip, we paid over twice as much to stay in a place a bit farther north in the Bay Area, and this was a far better experience in just about every way--worth more than the price, and I'll almost certainly stay here again when I need to be in the area.…
I stayed four nights. The place was most satisfactory. It's easy to find. The staff is welcoming. The desk clerks I met were very professional. The woman who runs the breakfast room is helpful and considerate. The wsrm food she puts out is uninspiring, but her warm good cheer makes the meal a good start to the day. The housekeeping is wonderful. I had a warm, clean room every night. I would be happy to stay there again. would happily s
The Staff was super friendly! Yes and Shay received us. The hotel is nice., good location, good breakfast. The only thing is that between rooms you could hear what was happening in the other room. We could hear our neighbors next door snoring. So, if you have a light sleep i will recommend earplugs. Other than that. 100% recommended
