Very nice, well run, clean, well cared for RV campground, part of the marina. Public park just outside the gates. Upscale neighborhood; gated security. Decent Wifi—not great. Showers—men’s at least—could use an update. A little noisy with comings & goings.
Who’d a thought in Stockton? It’s a small RV park butted up against the Delta(San Joaquin River side)...site 22 was perfect. Long back in site but close to dog grass area and bathrooms was perfect for us. It’s a community dump station so heads up. You’re next to Sheriff’s office too so love that!! There’s a nice walk path on the levee and river. Check in was contact-less. WiFi was ok. And a relaxing, trouble free stay. I’ll be back for sure. It’s a secret gem.
The check in was a breeze, very nice people. During the day quite loud with many very loud boats many playing very loud music. I'm VERY fortunate I plugged in with a surge protector, their plug fried and melted it but it saved my trailer. They admitted faulty and rusted wiring but only reimbursed half the cost of my $92 surge protector. Disappointed in the owners but the fellows running the place were first class.
Our first stay at Riverpoint landing RV resort snd marina. We were not disappointed. The water front sites are awesome!! (We liked #1, #6 best then 14-21 and then 2-11). We stayed in #32 which was quiet and st the end. We had no neighbors in dace it wS 3/4 full in Sept. The view is really on the west side). We loved our spot but it was shorter so we had to unhook. (which we would have done anyway). Sites 22-30 also get partial views of the waterway so are nice too. Buckley Cove is private with a locked gate at night so we felt safe at all times. Friendly staff. Water/elec only. Short drive (12 min) to Lodi. Recommend.
We have stayed at this RV Resort several times-most recently 10/24/2018. Our 40 ft motor home was parked facing the water so that we could watch the boats go by in front of our motor home. The WiFi worked great and the staff was very informative during the checkin since I made a reservation online. The reality is that this park is easy to find but very difficult to get to in our motor home. March Lane from Hwy 99 to the park is the worst three miles of road we have endured in 40 years of traveling in campers and motor homes. The road has low hanging tree limbs that may scratch the top of the motor home. The road has areas of repair that include tree roots raising the road and asphalt patched areas that create DEEP DIPS that resulted in our motor home being jostled about very violently. One example is that my Harley lift was broken and I was fortunate not to have significant damage to the motorcycle. Seems to me that the resort could leverage their influence with the local government to get these issues resolved in behalf of their customers.…
