nice location and cute town, however the owner clearly doesnt give a fk, The first thing he said to me is, "if you dont wanna stay, it's ok". crayon drawings on wall, stained towel, lack of crockery and cutlery. with a bit of love this could be a cute little motel.
Very expensive and rundown place. It is conveniently located but it is not good. The owner is also a bit weird. The first thing he said was: discount for cash? And other than that it is just not great to stay here.
Two of the windows were broken and wouldn't close without being pushed shut from the outside. The plug in heater was broken so we were cold all night. Sheets were stained and the pillows and mattress pads were dirty. Room stunk of cigarette smoke. Walls and carpet filthy. During the day there was a guy right outside our window trimming the plants for hours. Manager told me upon check-in that the room was overpriced at $170 and that I deserved a discount but oh well, too bad; since I had reserved it already on my credit card it was too late. What?!
We brought friends to celebrate a birthday. Rented two cabins to assure privacy. This place, under the old management was well landscaped, like the pictures shown. Most of the plants have been cut back too far. It was always well maintained...not the case now. Dirty room, cobwebs in the rooms, deadbolt did not work, tv not working, smoke detector removed, walls patched and not painted. 👎We have recommended this place since our first stay almost 20 years ago...never again.
I booked 3 nights at this motel months ahead of time. My husband and I just needed a budget place to rest our bodies in between hiking and running on Mt. Tam. We were not expecting the Hilton but we WERE expecting something safe. This motel is EXTREMELY unsafe. 1. There were no batteries in the smoke alarm. 2. There was no knob on the bathroom door, but there was a note taped to it that said not to close it or it will be locked. 3. The bathroom window was wide open (no screen) so there were mosquitoes in our room. Now, let's talk about the proprietor. When I went to open the office door and check in, he only opened the door halfway. He gave me a really funny feeling, so much so that I told my husband to stop unloading the car and come with me as the proprietor showed me the room. He gave me the creepiest feeling ever. We were in the room just 20 min when due to the items listed above, we decided we couldn't stay there. We only got $90 back but at least we are alive. We took pictures of the smoke alarm, bathroom door, and open window so we can report the establishment to the dept. of health. No one should be staying at this hotel.…
