Book a room via booking.com about 1hour before we arrived, receptionist didn't receive our booking information yet, however we still can check in normally. The room doesn't have indoor jacuzzi as display pictures on booking.com, we did ask about it, but the staff told that jacuzzi is only available in VIP room (which is about 4x price, not surprised), and the display pictures are the same for all types of rooms (really?!). Room is very old, and abit smelly, standard amenities. We arrived on weekdays, so breakfast menu is only limited for eel soup, beef noodle, and tea/coffee, as expected. Not many things to raise your expectation as the price is only about 24$/night.
On website it looks very new & good but when you live inside it looks very old & rooms have stains + broken parts. But this not the worst thing cos the front desk was very unfriendly and the breakfast was very very poor (we have been in breakfast room at 8am & there was just leftovers)....for that price I could get better!
I was in business trip to Ha Tinh found this hotel on trip advisor app although review were not positive but one review make me select this Hotel. Checked in around 3 midnight the front desk was so cooperative that make me ignore most of reviews then allocated us to 4th floor I am allergic to carpet dust without hesitation they changed my room with smiling faces to help us move our stuff . Room was very clean and tidy towels bed sheets bath accessories everything was exceptional good. Breakfast was also very nice Vietnamese and continental mix. I bring food from out side for dinner just asked for plates and spoons the staff gave us bowls plates chop sticks and forks was extra ordinary treatment , Thank you I was not expecting such a nice stay after reading some negative comments. Expect less you will be overjoyed with this Hotel. Recommend again …
I stayed here one night on a business trip and found most of the experience to be disappointing. The room was dated and dirty and had no hot water in the bathroom. There was a lot of noise coming from the karaoke bar within the building until late at night and it certainly didn't help that ongoing construction nearby resulted in the building shaking violently every 10 to 15 minutes. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, but the food options were pretty much limited to fried eggs and bread. When checking in the receptionist politely insisted on keeping my passport, which is technically illegal. I managed to retain it in the end. There surely must be better places to stay in Ha Tinh than this hotel.
Our experience started with an exceptionally disinterested (verging on rude) front of house. Due to lack of options, we decided to stay. Our room had a cigarette stench, the bathroom had a hole in the tiles with an electrical cable showing and it the corner of the bathroom a small bunch of mushrooms were growing. We found out why when we had a shower, the cubicle was not sealed so water poured out the side! When we returned to the room and switched on the lights a large rat scampered across the floor. We went to reception. They sent up a cleaner. Her solution was to close the window! We went back down to reception and they called the previously rude receptionist. Her first question, when we told her of our dilemma was, 'How many rats?' After taking her to the room to show her, the rat was running up the curtains and squeaking. It was now she offered to change our room! The only plus was the chef made a great omelette for breakfast.…
