I had a beautifully decorated blue and white floral patterned top floor room with a double and single bed if needed. A large attic style cupboard and next door bathroom with all the soaps and lotions I could have needed. The house still has an Edwardian feel to it and I believe had once been the bedroom of the little...

We spent two nights at this historic Victorian mansion, built by the daughter of the Bissell vacuum company. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. Unfortunately we missed one breakfast, the one we did have was amazing.

This is a wonderfully charming Bed and Breakfast old Victorian home - nine rooms once belonging to the Bissell Family (of vacuum cleaner fame) reasonably priced including terrific breakfast. My family and I had two adjoining rooms, both very clean and lovely--- Don't miss the experience of staying here...AND DO NOT MISS THE HUNTINGTON GARDENS!!

My wife and I recently stayed in the Bissell House, third floor Garden Room. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the Victorian mansion and it's decor. It was a relaxing stay and an excellent breakfast. Thank you to the host.

My daughter lives nearby but had overflow guests so she made a reservation for me here. Just LOVED the grand Victorian home with all the authentic accessories and beautiful gardens. Such a warm welcome by the hosts! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom up to date but charming. All the amenities!! Then there was the divine breakfast. A...

This is an incredible old mansion in South Pasadena, where there are not many lodging choices. We enjoyed our 2-night stay, especially the amazing breakfast (and the coffee, tea and cake in the living room). I think we liked just seeing and being in the beautiful common rooms the most, although our small room was cozy. Furnishings are old and...

My husband and I stayed at the Bissell House Bed & Breakfast for 2 nights prior to a trip to Hawaii. We found this B&B from Bed & Breakfast.com as we had some gift certificates to use. We had no specific location or sites to visit in the LA area but knew we wanted to stay somewhere less than an...

The Bissell House is a beautiful, historic home located in a lovely and convenient area of South Pasadena. The home is filled with beautiful antique furnishings and has been tastefully restored. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and delicious but not always enough coffee was prepared. The innkeepers were delightful, friendly and aimed to please all of their guests. The only negative...

The breackfast is very good, you can also find fresh homebaked cake! Tea and coffe always avaiable in a charming livingroom. The stuff is very helpful and they can be easily contacted by phone or emai. Very recommended for all travelers passing through Pasadena or who want to visit Los Angeles or the Studios (20 min car distance).

My husband and I recently returned to the Bissell house for a second visit (four nights). This house is always beautiful, but was especially so for the Christmas season with a gorgeous live tree in the parlor and lovely decorations around the fireplace. When we stayed here before, we were in the English Garden bedroom which was comfortable but smallish....
