If you can't enjoy your stay with Rhonda and her helper(s), you need to stay home. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and wonderfully decorated in the style that reflects the Inn's history. Amazing views of Sonora and the surrounding countryside are available from every room and pretty much everywhere on the grounds. Nothing can beat the breakfasts,...

Rhonda the innkeeper is gracious, warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were her only concern. Her residence is a gracious and authentic example of a period mansion in gold rush country. The history of the inn is a delightful trip into the past, but more delightful is the food and personal service that we received. Treat yourself...

Tired of major brand sameness we tried this well rated B&B and had a wonderful time. The Cal King bed is a bit unusual and necessary for us tall folks...and was a delight to sleep on. The interior is spotlessly clean without even a hint of dust in the curio cabinets and everything seemed period correct and original. The owners...

The Inn on Knowles Hill is located in the interesting little town of Sonora, California. Sort of like an old gold mining town from the early 1900's, there are lots of quaint little shops and wine tasting to explore. The Inn itself is a highly unique place to stay. We stayed there a few years ago for a couple of...

Can not say enough nice things about this B&B. We loved everything about it - close to downtown but above the hustle & bustle, lovely restored 1927 home, wonderful views, & the best breakfast I've ever had. Rhonda, the owner, is very gracious & welcoming - and a great cook. They have lots of furry friends who live outside, so...

We met as a family here to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Rhonda and her assistant, Megan, are delightful, so friendly, and couldn't have been more helpful in so many different ways. The inn is beautifully decorated and each room unique. And the breakfasts we had were fabulous in...

I can't say enough about this Inn! I arrived on August 5 with my daughter, two granddaughters and daughter-in-law for a two day Girls' Getaway. Our rooms were charming, clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were yummy, healthy and prepared with love. On Saturday morning, my daughter-in-law got a call to go to work in Manteca, and to be there...

We came to California last January and were treated so well that when a family wedding occurred in Southern California this summer we wanted to make a return visit. This time we brought all of our adult children as well as our teens and youngest. Fred and Rhonda, the inn keepers, continued to put out the welcome mat and treat...

The Inn sits up on a hill over looking the historical town and the pine covered hills. The owners could not be nicer. The Victorian mansion is lovingly cared for and our room is 5 star. We are sitting on the veranda lulling the afternoon away. Absolutely love it!

I wish TripAdvisor would let us give this B&B 10 stars to show how much we loved the Knowles Hill B&B! We stay at a lot of B&B's and the Knowles Hill is hands down the most beautiful and delightful place we've stayed. Rhonda and her family made us feel right at home with their hospitality over the 3 nights...
