First time in Sonora and at the Bradford Place Inn. Patrick and Kim were wonderful hosts- making suggestions for activities and places to eat. The breakfasts were exceptional and the room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was no problem and we were in a great location to explore the town on foot. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for two nights over the Memorial Day Weekend. I was looking for something close to downtown Sonora so we could walk out without driving, and also somewhere with character. This place was just a block from the middle of the downtown (but off that busy street on a quieter one), and it was very comfortable and interesting, as a Victorian building that was beautifully maintained. Our host was very welcoming and friendly and the homemade breakfasts were delicious. We would go there again if staying in the area.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at a historic BnB in Sonora over the weekend. The Inn is conveniently located off the main street of old town Sonora, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and museums.

Our room was clean and cozy, and the air conditioning unit was remarkably quiet. The bed was also very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is always a plus.

Kim, the innkeeper, was a delight to interact with. She was hospitable and welcoming, and she provided us with great restaurant recommendations and suggestions on places to visit. Upon our arrival, Kim showed us our room and discussed breakfast choices for the following day. Being dairy and gluten-free, I can be challenging to cook for, but that wasn't a problem for Kim. Each morning, she prepared delicious gluten and dairy-free baked treats for us, along with a special breakfast dessert. It was a wonderful surprise and a great way to start our day's adventures.

Our trip to the Gold Country was thoroughly enjoyable, and our stay at the Bradford Place Inn was a significant part of it. We have added it to our go-to list for future visits.

I greatly enjoyed my stay. It’s in the perfect location in Sonora, beautifully furnished, and cozy. Breakfast was great, too. And they’re even shipping me some items I left behind. I hope to return someday.

Beautiful old house with fabulous furnishings. Room was quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Short walk to town, about one block. Kimberly went out of her way to ensure our comfort; from breakfast tomorrow to finding a dry cleaner. Breakfast was delicious and creative. Complaints, none . A real pleasure

We had a one night stay on way to San Francisco and after visiting Yosemite. This is a beautiful character property and the friendly welcome and service from Kim, including breakfast, was perfect. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

The Bradford Place Inn made me uncomfortable. Unkept landscaping and front porch, broken front gate, and very dirty carpeting inside. Overall first impression gave us the creeps.
Once in the room, not so bad, except it smelled like a very old room, which it was. Breakfast good, but cold. Bed was good, and I slept soundly. Some nice touches like the in room bathtub, and in room personal items like fabreeze and eucalyptus soap. We opened the windows and the sills were very dirty. It was gross with neglect and dust.
We wondered the next morning if there would be cameras in the room? The interaction with the man who was the Innkeeper was just weird. We were very unsettled and couldn't leave fast enough.

Hello Marie, The Bradford Place Inn is a calm and respectable establishment and we do our best to make all of our guests feel welcome. If you felt that Eli (the previous innkeeper) was too intrusive, I'm sure, knowing him that he was only trying to be helpful and make you feel at home. I do want to state that we value our guests privacy and under no circumstances do we invade their space. I'm glad you enjoyed the breakfast. All of our breakfasts are made to order and delivered promptly to our guests, either in the comfort of their room, the warm and inviting parlor or, weather permitting, the lovely front porch. If you receive the meals and leave them to sit before consuming them, they will cool down, and we would be glad to re warm them for you, had you but asked. The gate that you mentioned in the front yard is not broken, but rather opens in the middle. This is the design of the gate and I'm sorry that this confused you. Finally the landscaping. I'm very sorry that the state of California is in the middle of a 4 year drought and that the county has required us to cut back on our water use drastically. This is a great inconvenience to you, as you wish to see green lush lawns and fresh flowers. Until the drought ends, we are doing our best here to maintain the garden but have limited the watering to the bare minimum. regards, Jeff

Nice B&B that is close to the downtown. Sonora is a good place to base oneself to explore both the gold mining country and Yosemite. Owners are quite helpful and friendly, excellent food and a good value.

We arrived at the place at 2030 so a little later than we would have hoped, however the owner came away from her evening meal to meet us. The building is old and charming with nicely kept rooms which are spacious with very comfortable beds.

We just stayed in Sonora the one night, so we didn't have time to settle in. However it was excellently located in the middle of Sonora which again is a small charming town with everything you need in terms of restaurants, supermarkets etc...

Fantastic place to stay, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
