Planned this visit from Australia so didn't know the area. Had been fortunate enough to have started the trip in truly luxury accommodation before visiting Sonoma. Was very pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Sonoma Valley. We did book a suite so the room was...More

Stayed for one night. Slightly Python-esque check-in as a vacuum cleaner salesman demonstrated his noisy wares to a manager, making it hard to converse with the reception staff! Our room was fine, plenty of parking, wifi no problem. Location is good, an easy walk to...More
Looking for hotels in wine country is challenging if price is an issue. This is one of the lower end hotels( 200 ish a night). It is a bit worn on the outside but the room was clean, the pool and hot tub, a bonus...More

If you are the type to sit outside in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee or if you like to enjoy a beverage for the setting sun, I would say yes. However, if you are just using the room for a place to lie your head between busy days in the Wine Country followed by a lovely meal a short walking distance away, i would say no. All the rooms backup to the courtyard/pool, For the first floor rooms it is a short walk through the courtyard to the lobby. The breakfast room is in the opposite direction in a totally separate building. Salute!
