First of all, let me say the Hosts, Pam and Jim are amazing! Its the owner that is not worthy. During this Virus situation, we called and spoke to the hosts about changing from 2 nights to 1 night to get out of CA, as the flights were being cancelled. We were on a mother/daughter spring break and had 2 students w/ us and w/ all the closings and shelter in place orders, we were anxious. the owner Jim, said he would refund one night, but then when we got there said NO, only a credit voucher....we don't live in CA...but still nothing. The other places we had to cancel...gave us FULL Refunds....PLEASE do yourself a favor and DON"T give any business to this owner...

We have tried to modify our cancellation policy to follow the airlines. Early on, before the shelter in place, this guest wanted to cancel. We explained our 14 day cancellation policy and how it was changed to allow our guests to receive a voucher and return in the future. After many phone calls and emails, I decided to allow the guest to cancel and I would refund one night. We were never told if they were going to arrive or not, and they finally showed up unexpectedly. Jim, my manager, got up early and prepared breakfast and Pam offered them a glass of wine upon arrival. The refund was if they canceled their entire reservation, not one night. I'm sorry we couldn't make this guest happy.

This was a wonderful spot for our trip to wine country! We stayed for two nights and it was super affordable. The breakfast was superb - fantastic portions and the staff was so friendly. They gave us some vouchers for local wineries - next time we go we shall venture more into Sonoma. Room was perfect, good for two. Parking situation was ample as well. Can’f wait to return!

What makes the Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn so delightful are the host and hostess, Jim and Pam. Both of them are warm, gracious, accommodating and helpful. The B&B is in the heart of Sonoma, located about a mile from the downtown plaza, a nice flat walk, but an easier drive. It is a quaint historic building about 145 years old with lots of charm. We stayed there two nights including New Year’s Eve. The highlight of our stay was the 5:00 pm happy hour with a free glass of wine, an assortment of cheeses and some added goodies from the chef. They hand out a Wine Passbook which can save you a lot of money, with a list of wineries that offer free tasting to others that give you two for the price of one. We stayed in the Ellington room on the first floor. It is a large room, nicely appointed, private full bath (shower) and a very comfortable king size bed. The door to the room is right off the office/lobby and not solid but has glass panels with a privacy curtain. The only negative issue is that you can hear every word spoken on the other side (which probably means they can also hear you). Except for a very short New Year’s Eve celebration, the nights were very quiet. Each morning we are greeted with an abundant, very tasty and nicely presented breakfast. A nice value and would consider staying there again if in the area.

Pam and Jim are absolutely AWESOME hosts! They make us feel we are home. Pam provided tons of information about the area, helping us to find things to do on Christmas day. Jim made a few changes on my husband’s breakfast every morning to accommodate his preferences (he is not allergic but is very picky with fruits and veggies). We had a great stay because of this amazing couple! Also, the bed and breakfast is a short and easy walk to the Sonoma Plaza, very convenient.

We had a large bedroom with King Size bed, which was extremely comfortable. Our room had and adjoining bathroom with shower on the first floor. This worked out well for my wife who doesn't do stairs very well. Jim and Pam who run the Bed and Breakfast are a very friendly and helpful couple. Very accommodating. They gave us a booklet on all the vineyards in the area and a Passport Booklet which gave us two for one tastings or free tastings. Their breakfasts were awesome! We would definitely go back.
