We enjoyed our 2 night visit over New Years weekend. The location can't be beat if you want to be near the plaza in Sonoma. We had a rental car but walked to dinner each night. We were also able to walk to a nice hiking spot on Sunday morning. The ambiance of the inn and the room were perfect. We enjoyed the corner fireplace in our room as it was chilly that weekend. The bed and the linens on the bed were great ( I am getting more particular about sheets as I get older!) The bathroom was the only place where I would say could use some updating. It was fine, but not impressive. We had a patio but did not use it since it was chilly.9 We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Not a lot of choice, but the entree each morning was very tasty. The inn offers a wine and cheese hour in the late afternoon/ early evening. During Covid times they just had the wine out on the table in the lobby. You had to ask the front desk for the cheese and crackers. The to go offering of cheese and crackers was generous-probably more than I would have had if it had been offered there in the lobby , but they did not let you know you had to ask the front desk for the food. We did not make it up to the hot tub area, but wish we had. I can definitely see us coming back again, especially with friends or just for a romantic weekend. Only con was I wish the front desk staff had been a little more friendly, engaging, helpful. They were not impolite, but were distant.

Excellent Experience! We loved staying at the Inn at Sonoma. The lodging is lovely, the location is perfect, and the breakfasts are delicious. We felt welcomed and taken care of. The afternoon picnics and bikes offer a little something extra. Jamie at the front desk was fantastic and so welcoming. Thank you! We loved staying at the Inn at Sonoma!

This is a small inn that caters to their quests. Breakfast is delicious every morning and the happy hour wine and cheese was much appreciated. The rooms are nicely appointed and we welcomed the fire place in the room. Everything downtown is within walking distance.

My family stayed here while visiting Somona Valley over Thanksgiving weekend. We loved the breakfast, wine and cheese in the evenings, whirlpool and fireplaces in the rooms. Balconies are nice, it was too cold to enjoy those. We liked that you can walk to coffee shops, and the square to eat, shop or wine taste. We didn't use the bikes, but it's nice they have them. We have never been to Sonoma and we definitely will be back!

There are so many things to love about the Inn at Sonoma. The location is perfect - so close to downtown proper. It's not new but it's not old. It has the charm of a quaint little inn and also has the amenities of a modern hotel. It's more like staying at a bed and breakfast but you have a private bath and you can come to breakfast at your leisure. That's the next best thing - breakfast is not just a croissant and a cup of coffee - it's quiche, freshly baked pastries, yogurt, fruit, granola - plenty to fill you up. The staff was friendly informative and the fireplaces in the lobby and the rooms made this the perfectly romantic get-away.
