It was our second stay at the Inn, which has a lot going for it. At $302/nt, it would have received four or five stars with a few easy fixes. (See Cons below). Pros: -Charming, mature trees, quiet, nice decor, spacious, airy rooms, comfy beds, fireplaces, balconies. -Includes full breakfast, fruit, delicious egg dishes. Also includes wine, cheeses and crackers every afternoon. -Central location to explore surroundings. Cons: -Dark bathrooms need upgrading to glass showers. Replace tub caulking. -Window and mirror frames, including the corners, need better cleaning. - “Fresh baked” goods at breakfast and the cookies are a nice thought, but they were often quite dry. Either they are not stored in air-tight containers, or the cook is baking too long or too hot. An easy fix if management will get involved. -Lobby furniture needs refreshing and recovering. It's a tough competitive business, and in that market businesses have to stay fresh and relevant.

We were looking for a place not too far from Sonoma Raceway, but also with some charm and walking distance to downtown for dinner. We hit the jackpot with this charming Inn! The staff was friendly and helpful. They guided us where to go and made fantastic recommendations. The rooms were cozy and clean with a fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was very homey. This Inn is located right in downtown so you can walk to shopping, wine tasting and dining. We look forward to visiting again!

The staff is accommodating and friendly,. They definitely made each and every guest welcome. Very, very impressed with the afternoon hors d’oeuvres and wine. The complementary breakfast was very good as well it all seemed homemade. As they say location, location. This is definitely in walking distance to the Sonoma Square where all the activities go on for wine tasting and gift souvenir shopping. PS Depending on what your definition of an “Inn“ is, Will determine the rating that you would give to this property.

This was our second trip to Sonoma and this time we stayed downtown at this beautiful inn. It was located right next to the square and was a perfect location within walking distance to everything. We stayed in a king room on the second floor, with a balcony off the back. The room was perfect for our one night stay. We arrived on a Tuesday to a bustling square, where people were getting ready for live music that occurs every Tuesday in the summer. The music was great and the square was packed! Prior to booking we did read some reviews about how noisy it got in the morning, and we did wake up pretty early the next morning, to construction that was going on in the back of the building. However, ear plugs were provided in the room, but we were looking to get an early start and still adjusting from east coast time, this did not really bother us. Breakfast at the inn is included and was fabulous! It was homemade and delicious! I would definitely recommend spending a night here if you plan on coming to Sonoma!
