We loved our balcony overlooking the courtyard, loved the location, and appreciated the cleanliness of the room. We could walk to downtown Sonoma, about a mile (just estimating here). Also, we were close enough to the Sonoma wineries we had chosen to visit.

We spent 5 nights at this location while we were recently evacuated from the Oakmont community in Santa Rosa . The staff were very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed out room and the interior gardens (beautiful Palm trees, etc.) were soothing and peaceful. The swimming pool was immaculate in spite of all the smoke and the green lawns wit table were nice to sit at and have lunch. We will suggest this venue to visiting friends in the future. We were fire evacuees and bounced from hotel to hotel. We finally were able to get into the El Pueblo. The room was spotless and comfortable. Amazing grounds to relax. The staff is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this inn. We would vacation here if we were not locals.

My wife and I stayed at the El Pueblo Inn for two nights last week. We loved this place. It's funny to refer to something as a resort MOTEL but that's what it felt like. The motel itself feels like it's right out of the 70's with a very California style to it. All the rooms are accessible from the outside in a typical motel fashion. The rooms are nice, clean and fairly updated. Ours had a fireplace with a couple of recliner chairs and a small TV with plenty of room, including a balcony overlooking a center courtyard. The staff were all very friendly and there was a fairly basic continental style breakfast available, with cereals, muffins, toast, coffee and juice, etc. But the sparkle of this place is the grounds. The center courtyard had a rainforest feel to it and there was a beautiful heated pool and hot tub that was amazing, with two of the most perfect palm trees overlooking. They go to great lengths to maintain the beauty of the property. We would definitely stay there again and you should too!

We liked our stay here. The rooms are bigger than I expected and well furnished, with a balcony that looks over a central courtyard area. The location is great - a 15 minute walk into town. The staff were friendly and service was good. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub but hopefully next time! I would definitely stay here again.
