The bed is comfortable and the atmosphere is generally calming. However there some items off the norm within the room: 1. When other guests slam or close their door, the noise is very loud and can be disturbing. 2. There are no towel hooks in the bathroom 3. There are no soap or toiletry holder inside the shower 4. I asked for toiletries from the chat at around 1am, it was not acknowledged until 8:22am and the items were never brought up. Given the issues above combined at this price / points redemption rate, I would be hesitant to recommend this hotel for future travels.

My one regret was that I was only able to stay one night! The hotel grounds are beautiful, the room (opted for the bungalow - fabulous) was clean, cozy, and fully stocked. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing stay. Will definitely be back and would recommend as a great place to stay in Sonoma!

Can’t say enough about The Lodge. Came up to Sonoma for my birthday and was not disappointed. Located in the center of Sonoma proper, the hotel was prefect. We especially loved using the bikes to ride around town to all the lovely wine tasting rooms and restaurants. The hotel itself was beautifully laid out and the cottage we stayed in was wonderful. Staff were very friendly and always welcomed you with a warm smile. I would highly recommend The Lodge for any occasion.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had and I never even stayed there!! Booked a room for 2 nights in July. We cancelled due to Covid, in plenty of time and got our money back. Randomly in August the hotel billed me for the stay we’d cancelled and they’d previously credited us. After about 2 weeks they agreed it was an error and that they would send a refund. It is now the middle of October and I have not been refunded the money. I follow up weekly to be told that “Corporate” is processing the refund. Totally unacceptable.

The outside doesn't look super swanky but that is misleading. This place was incredible to stay at. The décor is modern with touches of class. The rooms themselves are really nice. The bathroom (which I judge almost all places of stay on) was spectacular. Great tile, great shower. The pool area needs more chairs but that is something to quibble about.
