First time staying at the Solvang Gardens and last time. The rooms where cute the gardens are lovely. The breakfast was lacking in more ways than I am willing to get into. Tried to call and check in early for hours and no one answered the phone. Finally arrived two hours early and they allowed us to check in, but...

This was my wife and I's 2nd stay at the Solvang Gardens. The location is just one block down from the main area of Solvang, which is great because it's quiet, but walking distance to everything the town has to offer. Our room, was medium in size, comfortable, with a comfortable bed. Fresh towels, coffee maker, and working air conditioning...

Darling Inn with a lovely garden out the back door of our recently remodeled room. Excellent coffee and continental breakfast and a great location that is in close walking distance of center of Solvang. We will stay here again.

The room we stayed in was on the small side but was clean and had all the amenities. We appreciated the continental breakfast, not much to it but still better than nothing! All was well until neighbors checked in to the room next door. It was after 11PM and after a long day of traveling we just wanted to get...

This is a fun little town to visit during the month of September. Sunny and warm weather and a good choice of restaurants and bakeries. Anyone who wants to try Danish pastries has enough choice to choose from. It is perfect for a one day trip or stop by on the way to Los Angeles. Only 3,5 hours drive along...

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a quaint hotel with refurbished rooms and lovely gardens with loads of tables and chairs to relax and enjoy some Californian fresh air. The hotel is about 2 blocks away to the theming of the Danish town and within easy walking distance. Everything worth seeing in Solvang can be reached by foot....

We have been coming to this hotel for over 5 years, it was the only place we stayed in solvang. Last year we noticed the change in management and were present while they were changing the decor of the rooms, at the time we wondered if it would still be the same. Sadly of July 4th trip 2016 proved yes,...

My husband and I are so glad that we chose to stay at the Solvang Gardens Lodge. In a quaint town, I did not want to stay in a hotel. This Lodge was beautiful, romantic and just right. A short walk to town. Breakfast included every morning. A beautiful garden in front to enjoy your breakfast or just to relax....

The location is not in the really busy section, but perfect for relaxing and getting out of the hub Close enough to everything to walk, but if it's too hot, there is usually a lot of public parking in the main commercial section. The room was surprisingly large, but a little separate "sitting" room with wine glasses, etc. We will...
