This hotel is so beautiful! Amazing Danish architecture and furnishings. Our room is huge and gorgeous, high ceilings. It’s more like a studio apartment. There are 6 cottages on the property and there is this beautiful secret garden space in the middle of them. I will definitely come back to this fantastic hotel! Best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel, full hot breakfast and homemade Danish pastries too! All served by an employee, for safety reasons.

Beautiful hotel, super clean, highly recommended, delicious breakfast, a group of friends and I had a wonderful stay, without doubt I will stay here in the future. The views and rooms have a European style. The people that works in the hotel are super polite and very welcoming. There are a lot of small restaurants around the hotel, where you can eat and drink a good cup of wine. The weather is perfect

We decided to rent one of the rooms in the Inn vs. the cottages. The room was updated, clean and very roomy. The fireplace came in handy at night. The staff was very attentive and any question or request I had was promptly handled. Our room was 212 and it was rather like living in a fishbowl as paths to other rooms and the 3rd floor surrounded our unit so would recommend asking for a different room just for location purposes. It was a great value and would recommend this hotel when visiting Solvang.

We decided to stay for Two nights in Solvang, instead of just driving down for the day, and after looking around decided on the "Wine Valley Inn" based on the Web Site photo's, and price. The Wine Valley Inn is located on the West end of town as you enter, so it is a nice location and convenient for walking to the downtown area. The outside of the property looks nice and has the Swedish / Danish architecture style, the property is laid out with multiple buildings. The lobby is small, and the staff is friendly, there are two parking areas, one to the Right of the lobby that holds maybe about 20 Vehicles, which is usually full, and then a larger parking lot behind the property, which you need to walk around the main building to get to, if staying in the Loft Rooms. As mentioned in the title, the rooms are a old, dingy and dated, we stayed in one of the Loft Rooms and other then the Sofa which looked a bit newer, the balance of the furniture and decorations look as if they have been there for a bit. Also the Bathroom layout in the Loft rooms is a bit weird, the tub and toilet are on one side of the downstairs area, and the sink and mirror are on the opposite side, about eight feet away. Also the water pressure for the Shower and Toilet are are weak, and the Tub takes about 15 minutes to drain. In addition the room was chilly most of the time we were there, the outside temperature was in the high 50's while we were there, and we had set the Thermostat to 72, but there is only one vent upstairs, which was not enough to heat the room. Also in the Loft area where the Bed is located there is a door to the outside hallway that is somewhat blocked as an Emergency exit. Our impression was that this used to maybe be a Three story set of rooms, that have been remodeled into a first story set of rooms, and then second and third combined to make a "Loft" room. The outside in nicely landscaped, and they have Two outdoor areas with Fireplaces for evening gatherings for Wine and Cheese, there is also a on-site Spa and Massage if booked in advance. We felt the photo's of the Loft Rooms on the Hotel Web Site were a bit deceptive and made the rooms look larger and better then they were. We would not book a "Loft" room again if we went back, do not know what the other types of rooms look like. Overall we were a bit disappointed as we stayed for Two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and felt the overall experience lacked our anticipated expectations.

We had the Chateau Loft Suite. It was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and clean. Everyone was extremely accommodating and we were there with so many COVID restrictions. No daily room service was a drag, but if you needed/wanted anything all you had to do was ask. Good daily breakfasts and very centrally located. Will definitely recommend and definitely go back.
