Very clean and spacious room. Would definitely return there. Make sure to check parking fee and taxes because it was brought up to me after I arrived and not during phone reservation, when I told that total price I paid includes everything, but that's not what happened at arrival. Overall, great place and great location!
We had a wonderful stay at Landsby with our two-year old son and Corgi. We really like the design of the Village suites as it has enough room for all of us (family of 4 including the dog). The service was friendly and helpful. My husband left his apple watch in the room and the hotel called us when they found it after check out. Despite staffing shortages everywhere - this property (hotel and restaurant) do not seem to suffer.
This was our first experience with the Lansby and it was great all around. Love the decor and our Mad & Vin dinner experience was superb! Location was also ideal within a short walk to many bakeries, restaurants, wineries, and local entertaintment. The Lost Guitar venue was a really nice surprise just behind the hotel. We will be back!
We love the Landsby! We began our marriage here and we love revisiting and reminiscing over the years here. Great get away to remember and dream together of our future together. We will continue to come here, because it is such a lovely place to stay.
I've stayed at The Landsby twice and been equally impressed on both visits. The staff are friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is delicious. The property is tranquil and stylish. Each room is decorated differently making for a unique experience each time. This is my go-to place in Solvang.
I have stayed at the Landsby many times. I always have a wonderful stay. Always clean, Always nicely decorated, Always friendly staff, fantastic location, great restaurant and bar. It's the only hotel i book when visiting Solvang.
It was a long awaited girls’ trip and this was the perfect place to have it. The beds were so comfortable and the room was so quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from the street or the hallway. We went to the bar both nights and ended up chatting with other guests. The drinks were great. Had breakfast the last day and I really loved the omelet. Looking for another stay very soon.
We live in Los Angeles and daytrip to Solvang. This was our first overnight, and overall it was a positive experience. The location of the hotel is perfect; the atmosphere of the hotel and the restaurant are lovely; and the food in the restaurant is delicious and not scandalously priced. However, while the service in the restaurant was polished, the service in the hotel was rough and is a clear opportunity for improvement. We paid mid-week rates, and we would (and likely will) stay again. We did have some noise pollution from above, but not from either side. (We were in 51, one of the Junior Suites, and per conversation with the family in the room next to us, they had a crying baby, which we never heard.) We enjoyed the layout of our suite (main bed in higher portion of room, futon in sitting area below) and the fact that it opened to the courtyard / firepits - a peaceful and gorgeous setting. We enjoyed cocktails, wine, and one of the s'mores kits in the late evening, with cozy blankets on our laps. A good bakery and a great lunch option (Peasants FEAST) are steps away, and some of the best boutiques/shops, as well as the Solvang Trolley Ice Cream Parlor, are within a block or two. We appreciate this option existing in a small town.…
very accommodating and beautiful hotel and staff was amazing! Could not have chosen a better location for our daughter's wedding. Proximity to Los Olivos and wineries was perfect. Will definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel. They did an excellent job on the remodel. All updated. Love all the Art work in the hotel. You can buy the prints in the lobby. We bought the llama print for my daughters room. Staff is very friendly. Beds were a little too soft for us but overall it was a great stay!
