My Sweetie and I wanted a little relaxation and pool and good air conditioner for the weekend. Why not go to Simi Valley ? We found this resort type hotel in Simi Valley, and it hit the spot. The rooms were nice, the pool large with plenty of patio furniture, and a restaurant bar in the hotel. This was what... More

Good affordable hotel, quiet and clean. Love the Simi valley area and it's in a nice location overlooking lots. Pool could use some cleaning outside. Dirty towels laying around and never enough pool towels anytime we went to swim and the morning breakfast was disappointing. But staff was friendly and professional.

We stayed here during the World Series tournament along with the rest of the team. It was clean and the staff was helpful. Our room was on the first floor. We utilized the pool, washer/drier, restaurants, and bar. Would stay here again.

The front desk staff were one of the few bright spots we encountered. Adi and Jessica were both very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was being renovated but this wasn't communicated in any way to us, except small signs posted in the hallway heading to our room. The hallways smelled of wet drywall. The bathroom smelled musty and did not... More

This is a nice hotel, easy to find, good view, nice pool, restaurant in the lobby, sports bar next door. Our room looked just like the picture...clean, smelled good, comfortable bed. Water trickles, but that is a CA drought issue, not the hotel. The staff was friendly, it has a big lobby. Did not see anyone in the restaurant so... More

My first room smelled like Pee. So we went down to inform the management a gentleman. Sean helped us right away . But beside him must have been the manager his name is Adie. Sean found us a room just across our pee room. Adie insisted we clear our pee room bring dow our staff then they give us the... More

This is really a "motel" and not a hotel. Very small beds, full size. Air conditioning is a wall unit and not central air - very loud! TV and governed to level 20 which you can't hear while air is running but they won't let you increase the volume because the walls are paper thin. Bring your toiletries - basically... More

The Gran Vista is an excellent hotel, despite beginning to show it's age. Still quite elegant, it makes you happy to stay there - warm with a touch of fanciness. Excellent location - easy freeway on & off. A restaurant/bar as well as a night club on the property, it's nice to be able to have a couple drinks with... More

We had a pleasurable stay at the Grand Vista Hotel. It is very close to the Ronald Regan Presidential Library which was the reason for our stay. Purchase your tickets at the hotel and get a $3.00 off discount per ticket. Hotel was very clean. Room was a good size with small refrigerator and microwave. Staff was courteous and helpful.... Hotel ok carpets and decor need upgrade but clean and good staff, Room was adequate for us 2 adults and 2 teenagers but bigger beds would have been nice as family rooms have 2 x double beds. It is around 45 minute to Hollywood/LA on a good traffic day but there are plenty of shopping and eating places within 10... More
