Four of us were visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. We rented two cabins - one for each couple. Both cabins were darling. Had dinner in Singleton both nights, close to Lassen. Host was great. I left something behind and she kind enough to send it to me. We would definitely stay at Grace Lake Resort again.

We had reservations for cabin #4. When we arrived, well past check-in, the cabin was not cleaned up and ready!?! I was surprised, as all prior communication with Teresa had been positive and accommodating. I contacted Teresa and she immediately made things right. She put us in Cabin #1 (which was lovely and had the most comfortable bed.) As it turns out, there was a miscommunication with her cleaning staff, about when to clean up the other cabin. I understand ... stuff happens. I was appreciated that Teresa reacted, and fixed the problem, so quickly.

Theresa & Ray at Grace Lake Resort Shingletown Ca. We’re awesome. Very friendly and very helpful. We had 140 people up for a Wedding. In June it was 110° in Reading and it was very comfortable at Grace Lake at least 10° cooler. It is beautiful with the green lawns and the tall large Pines. The cabin so were lovely with individual themes and very well decorated. The Grounds are well kept. The lawn was soft and green and the bark had been refreshed all around the beautiful tall pines. The cabins are in great shape and cutely appointed. The grounds are laid out perfectly as a venue for special occasions. The area of the Gazebo is large enough to hold the 180 chairs we sat out. There is a second clearing well laid out for dining tables with access from the road for the caterers or easy unloading. Then there is an outdoor bar area with a dance floor. Everybody said what a wonderful venue it was and how well laid out and how cool it stayed even with the high temperatures in Redding.

We originally planned on staying here one night before visiting Lassen, but once we walked in the cabin we knew we wanted to stay longer, so we changed our plans to stay another night. Luckily, there was availability. Stayed in Cabin #4. CLEAN, quiet, lovely huge windows for birdwatching, Plenty of space for our hiking gear. Walked a bit around the wooded grounds. About 54 minutes from the Lassen Peak trailhead and 1:15 from Cinder Cone. We also had plans later in the week to visit Crater Lake, but due to fire and smoke, we had to cancel those plans. Lassen was less smoky, and we were lucky enough to get a couple more nights in the same cabin. Any downsides? The shower is small and the mattress I think was memory foam, which was hot to sleep on, but neither of those were deal-breakers for us. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful, accommodating hosts. Thank you.

My family rented out the entire property for 3 nights at Grace Lake Resort for my parents 50th anniversary gathering. It was perfect! Each family had their own cabin and the house and surrounding property served as our gathering area for meals, games and celebrating. The cabins and house were all beautifully decorated, each with their own theme. It was the little details of each cabin that made them special...the flowers on the table and the table set for four! They were clean and well stocked with the basic essentials. The property is wooded, shady and peaceful despite being just off the main road. The pool was a wonderful bonus, although the water was quite cold and the pool itself dirty with debris on the bottom. These things did not stop us from splashing around and having fun. We took a short trip on one of the days into Lassen and hiked around Manzanita Lake which was a beautiful easy hike/walk for both the youngest (<2 years) to the oldest (>70 years). Lots of nice picture opportunities there! Overall, I would highly recommend Grace Lake Resort! Theresa and Ray were easy to work with and helped make my parents' anniversary a very special event.
