We stayed here for a week. We left our RV here for 2 nights unattended while we did the Rubicon Trail in our jeeps and there were no issues when we got back. the sights are not completely flat so getting level in two different locations was a bit of a challenge. campground is gravel throughout, and grass is almost... Thanks for staying with us! This time of year El Dorado County is very dry. We have also been in a major drought for a couple of years so there is watering restrictions. We are currently looking into partially dry-scaping our sites so that we can water smaller areas and make our sites more attractive this time of year. Hopefully... More

Nice KOA with great staff. Lots of activities available to keep your family busy: dinner, pancake breakfast, pool-side movie, Karaoke. Appeared to be a bit short staffed for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Pool was awesome. Our pooch enjoyed the fenced dog runs. Lots of trees (shade!) throughout the park. Spaces were a little short in the pull-through area:... More

I arrived with very little notice on a Sunday night in the summer when the fair was going on. There was a good selection of tent sites available; I chose one near the highway but was not bothered by any particular road noise. I loved access to the nearby huge kitchen/pavilion which was open-air but covered, and had several large... More

I enjoy going to this KOA. It is very close to home. We usually go at least once in the spring and once in the fall. I love hanging out at the fishing pond or taking a dip in the swimming pool. The outdoor movie by the pool was really fun!

We stayed for one night at this KOA. We arrived at night & completed self registration. The staff were helpful to ensure we set up our hookups appropriately which was pretty easy. It's a quite RV park. We left in the morning and found a breakfast place to eat nearby.

We stopped by last weekend with no reservations. We called for directions and availability from five minutes away. Lajia was very nice and checked availability for our size trailer. She had one spot left that she said she would save for the short time it would take for us to arrive. When we arrived Lajia sold us on the KOA... More

It's just ok for $60 would have been nice to at least have a campfire. Not here. Go somewhere else. Not good for groups. Good for kids, lots of options, but for that $ I want more! Nice area but right next to freeway, that sucks

This is a nice park, well- kept, with great staff and many amenities. The 90 series pull-throughs are long and wide and are some of the best we've ever been in, but they do not have sewer hookups, so you must use the dump station. There are two negatives about this park. One, it is noisy. It feels like the... More

Sort of an interesting campground. One the one hand, right on the highway, so expect some noise. On the other hand, really good location, lots to do on site and in the area. Minutes from Placerville, Coloma, easy to get to from the Sacramento area. Cabins, tent sites, group camping. Some of the smaller trailer sites are pretty close together,... More

We stayed here for one night for a trip for my daughters Girl Scout troop. It was very quiet and the cabins were cute. Ours included a space heater and fan which was perfect for me because I like to sleep with the fan on every night. The only problem was that we were a bit far from the bathrooms,... More
