We weren’t aware they were doing a full remodel of their rooms, and we lucked out with one of them. All new paint, vanity, toilet and shower. The room was great! Our friends staying in a room across the courtyard were not as lucky, but understood when they saw our room. Great location! Nice courtyard, with a very cozy little coffee place on the parking lot for a morning brew and great pastry. We would stay here again.

Just finished staying 3 days here. My wife and I had stayed here 6 years ago and had an excellent experience. Now it's under new management and we will never stay there again. They have been going through some renovations, but they're clearly not ready for guests. No towel racks or hooks in the bathroom, our shower got so stopped up that my wife couldn't take a shower the morning we left. I had mentioned to the management that the shower was slow and, evidenced by shoe prints in the shower, someone tried to do something about it. Obviously to little avail. Also, the wifi kept going in and out - sometimes I could connect and often I couldn't. I'd have to go outside to get a connection. We could hear every footstep from the room above us. And so on...For the the money we paid this place is NOT worth it. Go elsewhere!!!

This is one of two hotels in Sebastopol. For the time being you should pick the other one. This hotel is dirty. Carpets are filthy and there is black mild around tub base. Work is being done. The management didn’t offer any concessions.

Stayed here for a few days for a family event where there were no other better choices available. The place IS being remodeled. Our room had not been yet. The room was pretty expensive, but in the north bay wine country one should expect that I suppose, (we are from NW Washington State, so as expensive as this place is, there were ‘other’ room much more expensive here. Maybe the other more expensive ones have been remodeled already but we did not ask. The room was worn. Electrical outlets were so used that our plugs would not stay in the outlets, (that seemed a bit dangerous as that loose of a connect would seem to be a heat and fire danger). The bathroom shower faucet would hardly work anymore. There was dark matter (maybe mold) on the shower curtain. Wood blinds that had been cleaned so many times much of the paint was gone and wood showing. The sink drain was very slow, albeit the shower drain was not. Much of the wall paint showed signs of mismatched color touchup. The door jams were dirty. There were many fluid stains on walls, especially the bathroom and sink areas. Someone had left clothing or towels behind one of the beds headboards, (we did not use THAT one). The door cards failed and they told us not to keep it next to any cell phone, iDevice, chipped cards of any type, any bluetooth device, etc. Seriously?! Does ANYONE have ANY pocket that does not have some sort of modern device of some sort in it? That this location is central and within walking distance to most of Sebastopol is it’s only plus. The staff was nice albeit we had little contact with them and daily service was minimal. I would have to see the newly remodeled rooms before I’d consider staying here again, and then they would have to be at a more reasonable cost.

Because I have very bad allergies to dust I asked to check a room before checking in . The room I was shown was ok, but after checking in the lady at the front desk gave me another one . After about 20 minutes I started to feel sick so I called the front desk reporting the issue and asking if they could at least vacuum the dirty carpet or send a air cleaner ....they couldn’t because no one was available to do so, so I told them I couldn’t stay in the hotel because I was feeling sick so I had to check out. Usually in a case like this you expect some help, but the answer was that they couldn’t have refunded me the night because i already used the shower .......so there was no willingness to help me out. I had to go to another hotel nearby and spend an extra $200 for the night. This hotel is not worth .
