We stayed here as it was a convenient place to stop on the way down the coast and it was cheaper option than Monterey or Carmel. The room was big and reasonably comfortable. The outside area was very pleasant with colourful flowers. A basic breakfast so typical of American motels was provided.

Not able to check in until midnight due to flight delays. Front desk person would not allow me in the office because they close at 10pm. I had to stand outside in the cold filling out paper work. I think if you can afford the $150.00 room I think you are a safe person & should be allowed in the... More

This is the worst Inn I ever stayed. Wife doesn't want 1 hour drive back home, but wants to stay in seaside for the weekend. When we checked in or go to get free breakfast (some brownie, coffee, no fruits), the guy at frontdesk behaved like my customer. Over the night, the air condition is very noisy. The aged refrigerator... More

It's not the fanciest place but towels and bed are clean enough for an overnight stay. Walking distance to grocery store and pharmacy. I like that the restaurants around the area are good. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will come back here again.

We stayed one night after driving up the Big Slur from Morro Bay. We drove to San Francisco the next day, which is about 3 hours away. The room was large, and appeared clean. The bathroom was not so good, it was the only place we stayed in that did not have a plug for the bath. This annoyed by... More

I have three basic rules for a hotel: clean, safe, value. This hotel meets all the requirements. It isn't located in the tourist area but it is very convenient and easy to find. Our bed was quite comfortable and in fact the pillows were the best we had on our trip. This is an old hotel and there still is... More

Clean room with fine beds/pillows. Shower temperature was hard to regulate. Thin walls but with quiet neighbors it's a fine place to sleep. Landlord was not rude - but I didn't feel welcomed. Okay coffee at 'breakfast' Yeah - Value for money.

Don't really understand the negative reviews for this motel. It is in an excellent location on one of the main roads in Seaside, about a mile or so from the Monterey State beach which is wild and enormous. The negative comments seem to be about the grumpy Indian managers. My group was treated courteously by the receptionist and manager after... More

Simple, clean and large rooms. Breakfast is very limited: cereal, milk, served in the reception. Parking available. There are some fast food near to. Not so close from Monterey downtown, but for the price it is worth.
