Old world charm in the heart of Sausalito. comfortable, clean, friendly staff! Across the street from the ferry terminal so trips to San Francisco and around the bay are quick and easy! Very Reasonable!

Our affection for this hotel grew somewhat from our first not-so-positive impressions. The location is brilliant - perfect for access to lovely Sausalito and a very short walk to the ferry into San Francisco. The staff are very friendly and helpful, too, the beds are really comfortable, and the hotel towels put some luxury hotels to shame! The hotel is...

Hi WH0A, Thank you for your review! I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay. Most of our beds are brand new - less than 6 months old. We pride ourselves on using the best quality of bedding and towels, so I'm very happy you enjoyed them. We are a historic building, so we are slightly limited on any major renovations....

Great location. The price was well within the range of what we had been spending in San Francisco. The setting is very quaint. We were prepared for the fact that the view was limited to that of Sausalito's main street. We were unable to get the heater to work on the one night that we needed it. We would stay...

Wonderful old-style hotel right very close to ferry stop. But, don't fret, the comings and goings of the ferry and its passengers don't interfere with your privacy one bit. Also, centrally located enough to walk to some of Sausalito's most renowned restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with great staff. Owner Gail was the best. We were upgraded twice to #203 on the very corner with a great view and comfy king bed. Catch the ferry right next door and great shops & restaurants all around. Nice and quiet street after hours. We can't wait to go back!

We've visited Sausalito every year at Christmastime for nine years. We've always stayed at Hotel Sausalito and always had a lovely time? The location is perfect, the room is warm, quiet, safe, and comfortable. I encourage everyone planning a trip to this area to stay here. It serves as a great base for daily explorations.

This is a lovely little hotel with a perfect position right down by the water in Sausalito. The rooms are small but nice and breakfast is in a nearby cafe, with vouchers for some basic food. The location is excellent, right next to the ferry into SFO and in the shopping area. We hired tandems locally and rode across the...

The hotel is a refreshed older hotel. Despite the older amenities it was very comfortable, great bed and a fantastic location! The breakfast consists of a pastry and coffee/tea at the shop next door, nothing more but they will give you a credit towards something more substantial. The pastries were quite good! No need to worry that the hotel does...
