This was a beautiful room at the top of the hill with beautiful modern bathroom and high ceilings. We loved it. The view of the pier was a nice thing to see when I woke up and the staff is mired than helpful with our needs.
Beautiful private cottage style room with a phenomenal view of the bay and San Francisco in the distance. Having the hotel on the main drag close to shopping and restaurants made it even better. The grounds and rooms a very modern, clean, and well appointed.
We loved everything about our stay. Starting with the warm greeting, the fabulous service, the amazing accommodations and the incredible views. We can’t wait to come back for another visit. If you need to recharge your batteries I highly recommend this location.
My husband and I stayed for one evening. Our room very clean and well decorated and had a very nice view with a balcony. The staff was very cordial and professional. We would look forward to staying at the Casa Madrona Hôtel again.
Well, what can one say, a great view over the waterfront, a lovely room, wonderful bathroom and comfortable bed. This is a top class hotel, with a touch of luxury. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only slight issue is the vertical design needing changing lifts, stairs etc. to get to the upper rooms, which is good for a cardio work out. The car park at the back is not for the faint hearted with a Monte Carlo climb out to the road! Otherwise, a really good stay.
Tired, outdated and overpriced hotel. Stayed here on Christmas (also my husband's birthday) and had communicated numerous times before hand to the staff that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. I had requested a quiet/private room to ensure a great stay. Instead they put us right on the street at the traffic light right in the middle of the hotel. Not once did they acknowledge his birthday or go out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. There was a jackhammer going on at 7am in the morning. The caulk in the bathroom, beds, and furnuture needs replacing. They don't even have vallet anymore so you have to go park your car across the street. To add insult to injury they charged me $15 more at check in after telling me I had already pre-paid and did not owe anything else additional. We had stayed here 5 years ago and were hoping for a repeat wonderful experience which obviously did not happen. We will not be coming back. …
We had a wonderful weekend in Sausalito staying at the Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa. Hotel staff were professional and friendly, offering their services at any time to make our stay more comfortable. We stayed in one of their cottages, high on a hill over the main street-level hotel. Our room had beautiful views of the marina and Tiburon. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. We definitely recommend the Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa!
My son and girlfriend Loved the hotel. Fantastic view! The room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Location was excellent- right in he center of Sausalito! Close to all sights and ferry. Shops right there. They highly recommend this hotel!
My husband I spent two glorious nights and days in Sausalito and enjoyed our stay at Casas Madrona so very much! The staff were delightful…beginning with the Door Mannwho asked where we came from and when we replied San Jose, he began singing, “Do you know the way to San Jose?” ;-) the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming and full of so much information from restaurants to how we could access the local ferry and trave to San Francisco and also how we could get to Muir Woods so we could enjoy and amazingly quiet and beaut6 mile hike through amazing tress and shrubs. We were thrilled to find several fallen trees full of ladybugs. The Ranger explained that the lady bugs hibernate for the winter behind bark! What an amazing experience to behold!! Our room was quaint and quiet and full of every amenity you could think of. Our views of the Bay included glimpses of Oakland the estuary, San Francisco and Alcatraz!! We will be back after and hope to enjoy all of the seasons through our stays at Casa Madrona Inn. …
We spent two nights at Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. We had a balcony with a breath-taking view. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you have mobility problems, sure to ask for a room without stairs to access. Oh, yes, and a perfect location In the center of things.
