We have had the pleasure of staying here on three special occasions over the past 12 years. Each time we have been treated like a special guest. A short stroll to the ferry landing and a pleasant ride on the ferry will have you in San Francisco within 25 minutes. There you can enjoy the city without the worry of...

I dont think I will ever forget when I opened the door to our room and saw large square window over looking the Bay .Wow wow wow It seemed as if our terrace was suspended above the Bay. The view of San Francisco in the distance , the ferry crossing, the sail boats. Truly magical The room with scented fresh...

We had the best getaway. Really enjoyed the bikes and movies. We will return again on our next trip. The wine and cheese is also nice as well as breakfast on our balcony!! Love this place and the service is top notch.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here at the end of a road trip around Northern California. We were in a lovely room with delicious views of San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz island. Room was well equipped - with a fireplace, lovely toiletries, dressing gowns, a cosy living area and even binoculars to gaze across the bay. Each afternoon...

You must get one of the rooms that has a balcony, our room was the "king deluxe with fireplace", it was $385 per night, but you were right on the water and the view was breath taking of the Bay and of SF. We sat in our robes every morning and had coffee out there (we saw a sea lion...

I planned a relaxing weekend to get away from all the hustle bustle of work and life and found this little gem. Among arrival: Greeted quickly and friendly by Dan who helped with all of our stuff. This place is funny because it operates minimally at least at the front desk. They often have one person who does Valet, Bell...

Since so much has been written about this place, I will just pick out a few of the small things I especially liked about this hotel: (1) the wine and cheese hour was surprisingly good; (2) the selection of DVDs was truly impressive; and (3) the slippers are the best luxury hotel slippers I've ever put on. One thing to...

This place is fabulous. While visiting my uncle who lives a stones throw from here and has worked in the bay for years, after some careful deliberation, said "you know, this is probably the only hotel that is exactly on the water. I can't think of any others in San Francisco or in the area that are this close". And...

We were in San Francisco for the Outside Lands festival and decided that however inconvenient we had to have a night here. The last time we stayed, some five years ago it was fantastic and so we came back and if anything it was even better. The only downside was that we only stayed one night. A beautiful inn with...
