My husband and I stayed for a wedding and loved it. The beds and pillows are out of this world, we got the best sleep we could have imagined! I had my own vanity to get ready in and was especially pleased with the deep tub with jets. I can’t forget to mention the absolutely beautiful grounds and rooms. Would absolutely stay again.
Jackie took great care of us all night! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for a small boutique wedding. Highly recommend. She seriously is the cherry on top, the cream of the crop, the spice to your rack, i think you get it…. Jacqueline, thank you so much for becoming a part of the family.
We have been staying at the Santa Ynez Inn for many years, and bringing special out-of-town guests there. Great amenities like breakfast, and wine and cheese at night near the fire pits, and light dessert. Rooms are beautiful (some could use an update). Perfect romantic stay. We stay during the week to avoid the crowds and because the rates are better (still overpriced, in my experienced view). The hefty Resort Fee is not included in the price, and this is disingenuous on the part of management. The Wine Passport is a n ice touch, because you get free tastings at several good local wineries, and these often cost $20 each these days, so that dulls the price pain a bit. My significant complaint is the staffing level. They have only one person in attendance at most times and if they are busy with other customers, or on the phone taking a reservation, you are out of luck big time. Sleepy, quaint Santa Ynez has been discovered, which is a good thing and a bad thing. As more wine tasting rooms move into town I hope it doesn't start reeling with over-served tourists like nearby Los Olivos. You won't catch us in either town on a weekend.…
Loved this gem in Santa Ynez. Close to good dining and great wine tasting. The Inn is perfectly located and has a wonderful garden area with fire pits or fireplace. Food and wine was definitely worthwhile.
Room 106 had high ceilings and nice exterior patio. Upon inspection there was a used water bottle under the bed the shower had almost nil pressure. Floor heated tile in bathroom not working properly. Nice location. Very helpful staff. Mentioned my birthday and server added something to my breakfast lovely.
this was a very nice place to stay. The inn is charming and well appointed. The staff and service was very nice. The included breakfast and evening snacks were also tasty and appreciated. We hade a birthday welcome package (champagne and cake) very nice touch. We had to leave a bit early, which they accomodated easily.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained. Rooms are spacious - at least ours was. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. The garden was wonderful - lots of different seating areas to relax in. They offer a social hour where they serve a local area wine with snacks. The breakfast was wonderful too.
The Santa Ynez Inn never disappoints! The inn is beautifully appointed and the service is warm and welcoming! We love the location and the ability to walk to local restaurants! The breakfast, wine hour and dessert are amazing and the tasting passport just adds to the value!
We had our wedding at the inn and it was incredible. So many amenities and it is a beautiful place. Rooms are incredible and we loved hanging out by the fire pits. If you want an amazing wedding weekend use the Santa Ynez Inn.
The inn is centrally located in the Santa Ynez Valley in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants. The rooms are very clean with a friendly staff throughout our visit. We took advantage of free breakfast, wine & appetizers, and dessert. All were great. The outdoor seating was a comfortable place to visit with friends since the weather was perfect during our visit.
