Easy check in and check out. Room was very nice and opened to the lovely courtyard. Enjoyed the warm air option in the bathroom. Breakfast was good but there was a charge. Will stay again when in this area.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2021. It was not what we expected, but we did have a good time. One of the pools had been torn out and was being paved over, so we had a view of the construction from our room.
The actual pool area was pretty, surrounded by a rose garden. It was heated, so it was swimmable. The hot tub was closed, so the dash from the pool at the back of the property to our room at the front and upstairs, was windy and chilly even in the heat of summer. If you want a room close to the pool, ask for it when you book your room. That goes for if you want an upstairs or downstairs room, too.
There was very little information about the "grab and go" breakfast available (for a charge?) at the hotel. There was conflicting information about the "cafe", no menu, no prices, etc. We ended up going to Denny's down the street. Although this hotel is in an industrial area, it was walkable to a lot of chain restaurants. It was within a couple of highway exits from the Charles Schulz museum and about a mile to Luther Burbank's house and garden, both of which we visited and recommend.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We knew up front that we would not have housekeeping while we were there, and that was fine. Every time I walked down our walkway to the housekeeping room on the second floor, the lady was very kind and got us everything we needed. The one time my daughter called the office to ask if there were towels by the pool , the one cranky person working at the hotel yelled, "What?"
The staff in the office were lovely, except, again, that one cranky person. One young man was obviously learning the ropes, and he was terrific, as was the young man who was training him. Thanks, guys, for making us feel welcome and appreciated. That goes for the housekeeping staff too.
I'm hoping that, as the construction is finished and the hotel returns to a routine as more things open up, this hotel will have even better service and more accurate information about facilities and services. It has potential to be pretty nice.

My brother and I were in Santa Rosa for a family function and chose this property based on its location and price. We received much more! The property is older, with much larger rooms than you find today, but everything has been renovated and updated . The beds and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and everywhere is well-lit with LED bulbs. We stayed in room 118 which offers a patio and view of one of the pools. That room is also in the back away from street noise. Finally, everything was scrupulously clean. I definitely recommend this property!

Bungalow style which is great for unloading and dog walking. The room was very nice and the bed was double sheeted sheets differently a positive. I don't know what they used on the sheet but they smelled like sunshine.
The reason I gave this Best Western 3 stars is we had ants. Had to remove everything for the counter in the bathroom(tip hair spray kills ants). The next morning I mentioned it to the front desk and he response was "oh well... it is that time of year". Our other issue was when we checked in we were told the times for breakfast so in the morning I went over to fine they charged for it. We have stayed at 15 Best Western on this trip the only one that charges for breakfast. If you stay here there's a Denny's across the street.

I am pleased that you liked the room, However I am sorry for the response from the desk clerk about the ants. Its not like him to respond like that. We do charge for breakfast, and it does state that on our website. We keep the prices very reasonable. Not all BW have a free breakfast, some offer meals on site. The ones that do offer a free breakfast. they actually raise the rate of the room to cover the cost. But please accept my apology, and we do hope you come back.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the bungalow scale of this Best Western. We stayed here for a small conference nearby. This garden inn is tidy and clean and well taken care of. The front desk was very helpful and sincere and fast. We checked in, at the entry of the compound, then drove and parked right outside our garden level room, great for efficient entry and exit. We walked a few steps to the restaurant for breakfast each morning, which was quite good, friendly, affordable, and efficient. They also have 2 EV chargers and 1 Tesla charger, so you do not have to go far to charge & it is included with the room! The check out was fast, too!

This motel is located in one of the worst areas of Santa Rosa, on a busy street, among homeless, drug addicts, and steps away from car repair shops, vacant lots, and boarded up motels. The manager seemed knowledgeable and helpful, but all the other front desk employees were poorly trained and borderline unprofessional. About half the people we saw in the parking lot were poorly dressed, driving rusty cars, and one person told me that she was robbed in her room a few days before. The rooms around the garden seemed nice, but the other two buildings were just about average. If you are paying half the standard rate it would be OK for a night, but otherwise I believe the regular room rates are greatly inflated. Not recommended.

We were traveling from Washington for a funeral service for my father and had booked a family suite plenty of time ahead. A day before the event we receive a call from them saying they had made a mistake and the room wasn’t available for those dates and told us they would fix the problem. The next day we arrived at our hotel and were told we would be given 3 rooms to make up for the family suite but only one was clean and ready. We got the keys for the fist room and were told to come back later for the other keys to the other two rooms. Later in the day we went to pick up the keys and only one more room was given to us. We let them know we had confirmation for 3 rooms and they told us that was not true and that there was no proof of that in their system. We showed the person at the desk the paper we were given marking the three rooms we were supposed to be given and he told us that paper meant nothing because we could easily have written ourselves an extra room on the paper. He then told us if we wanted another room we would have to pay for it. Our third room was given to another couple and we were left with only two rooms instead of the three we were supposed to be given. They later realized they had once again made a mistake in booking three rooms but nothing was done to fix the problem. By this time it was late at night and we were all tired from the funeral service we had attended so decided to just keep the two rooms we were given and some of us had to sleep on the floor in order to fit in the two rooms. Worst experience of my life here and the man at the front desk was extremely rude and accused us of trying to get a third room free when that’s what they had given us. Never staying here again and definitely don’t recommend to anyone else.

This was the last stop of our trip and I chose it because it was easily accessible from the freeway. I had some issues making the reservation because their computer was down and I never got a confirmation. However, I called a few times and they always had my reservation showing.

It was more of an industrial area than I expected. We were meeting friends for dinner within 5 minutes, and it was in an area that would probably be better to stay, although I never felt unsafe. We had our dog and it was a fine place for him. My husband was able to find some places to walk him at the far end of the parking lot, but he did not recommend that I walk him by myself. We did not use any amenities, but there was plenty of parking and room was spacious and clean. Looks like there is some construction going on, but there was no noise.

This is a lovely place to stay, especially if you get a room facing the garden. The plants are well kept up and a bird bath offers a chance to see birds bathing. The rooms are well appointed and roomy. The motel is close to shopping yet it's quiet.

We have stayed here a number of times. We are rewards members and because we live about two hours from Santa Rosa we often have stayed over night . We try to use the BW motels to get points. This motel is older, more like the old one and two story motels. Some of the buildings look quite dated on the outside. Don't be fooled . They have been tastefully remodeled on the inside. This unit was one story on the Garden. The interior had new floors and carpet, remodeled bathroom etc. and was immaculate. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a cold rainy night and I was concerned the one thin blanket on the bed wouldn' be enough and there were not any others in the closeet. Surprisingly we were toasty warm all night and I slept better than I usually do at any motel. Wonderful bed. The heating unit was quiet so we just turned it up a little and we were perfectly warm. You park your car right at your door which is nice. They don't include breakfast but there is a little cafe on the property that serves the bvest breakfast ever. It was half the price of most restaurants . The motel is quite reasonable so we don't mind paying for such a wonderful breakfast. This motel is in a great location, just a block from Costco, close to the freeway and it is a large property with pool and spa and beautiful gardens. Does not feel like an impersonal hotel at all.

The motel is in a lackluster area of Santa Rosa but I certainly felt safe here. There is a lot of shopping quite close by (but not in walking distance). You are right smack off highway 101, but the motel grounds are set back and well lit.
